Story
Gordon is a three year-old ball of energy who needs a loving home. He loves to cuddle, be brushed, and meet other dogs. He's currently being fostered by my husband and I. He's responsive to many commands, house trained, and crate trained. He enjoys visiting going on neighborhood walks and cuddling. Regarding his future home - Gordon would do great in a home with adults. We're currently working with Gordon to be less protective of his spaces and people. He had a provoked bite in his prior home's front yard, which is the first time he's bit anyone. There was an unexpected person in his yard, but fortunately it was a minor injury with no medical care needed. We’ve invested in a six week board and train program for Gordon, and through that he’s shown impulse control and has responded so well to training. We’re confident that if he's in a home where he gets attention and stimulation, he'll bring so much joy to his next family.

I have 2 dogs that I would like to keep together because the yellow lab/golden retriever mix is very attached to his sister Khloe. His name is Lenny they both grew up with kids from infants to a teenager. Since my wife and kids moved out of state I no longer have the time to give them the attention they deserve because of my work schedule so they spend way too much time in the kennel.

Hey, I'm Inu, 3yr old Husky mix, around 55 lbs. Am I ever "Inu".... see what I did there? I am a sweet boy who is ready for my new forever home. I get along great with people of all sizes and all the other doggos. I am not a fan of cats so please, let’s not try that! I am a bigger boy so keep that in mind if you have little people cos I could knock them over, but I would make an awesome walking / running / hiking partner with the big-uns! If you think you and I might just make the perfect pairing, then please check me out asap! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Say hello to sweet Max. He is a ~8 year old, ~75lb German Shepherd who is looking for his forever family. Max is extremely sweet and loving with people. He has lived in a home before, knows basic obedience including shake, and is smart and eager to please! Although Max is older, he still has a good amount of energy and is strong on walks. He would love a family that will take him for adventures, walks, and enjoys playtime! After his activity, he loves to cuddle up and relax on a cozy bed. Max has done well with other dogs in our care, and would do fine with another dog companion in his forever home for as an only dog soaking up all the affection. Max is a sweet boy who deserves to be spending his older years in a loving home. Apply to foster or adopt him in our website! His adoption fee is $400.

Toby is a 5-6 year old, 90-100lb Shepherd mix who is looking for his perfect forever home. Toby was abused in his past and due to this will need a very specific family. He is very sweet and loyal with his people once he is bonded. Toby is looking for a home that has a fully fenced yard out of the city. Somewhere rural and quiet would be perfect for him! He prefers women to men and can take some time to trust men. His ideal home would be female only, but could do ok with a female/male couple if the man was patient and could build trust with him. Toby needs a home without kids and other animals. No other dogs or cats. Toby can walk fine on leash around other dogs but needs to be the only dog in the home. Toby loves to run and play and will love to spend time with his people in his backyard soaking up the sun and running around. Toby is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
