FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDEDMeet Duffy!Duffy is a 1.5-year-old, 48 lb Schnauzer/Husky mix (our best guess!) who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This happy, goofy guy is full of personality and always ready to make a new friend!Duffy is sweet, outgoing, playful, and pretty much just wants everyone to get along and have a good time. He loves other dogs and is always up for a game of chase or a good wrestling match with a canine buddy. He would absolutely love a home with another playful dog to be his full-time partner in crime, but he could also do well as an only dog with continued socialization and opportunities to play with other dogs.Duffy has a fun, active side and would make a great adventure companion! Whether it’s hiking, running, exploring new places, or just getting out and about with his people, he’ll be happy to join in. He’s a smart, trainable boy who has plenty of potential to learn and grow with someone willing to put in the time.At this age, Duffy is still working on his manners. He can be bouncy and mouthy when excited, so he’ll need continued training and guidance for better handling. Because of his bouncy and mouthiness, a home with older, dog-savvy children would be a better fit than one with young kids.If you’re looking for a fun-loving, active, social dog who’s ready to be your adventure buddy and bring plenty of goofy energy into your life, Duffy might be your guy!Duffy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered.
