Story
I have 2 dogs that I would like to keep together because the yellow lab/golden retriever mix is very attached to his sister Khloe. His name is Lenny they both grew up with kids from infants to a teenager. Since my wife and kids moved out of state I no longer have the time to give them the attention they deserve because of my work schedule so they spend way too much time in the kennel.

These pups are in Bothell, Washington too!

PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Meet Patriot! Patriot is a handsome 3-year-old Presa Canario/Lab mix weighing around 50 pounds with a gentle heart and an easygoing personality. He spent his puppyhood growing up on a Mennonite farm and is now ready to discover what it's like to be a beloved member of a family. Patriot is the kind of dog who wins everyone over with his sweet nature. He loves people, is great with kids (his foster has children that range from toddler to teen and he shows lots of patience and gentleness with them), and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether he's playing in the yard with his canine friends or relaxing at your feet after a long day, Patriot is simply happy to be with those he loves. While he's currently living outdoors, Patriot is eager to embrace indoor life. With a little patience and a consistent routine, he should learn potty training very quickly. More than anything, he's dreaming of a soft dog bed to curl up on, a few toys to call his own, and a family that will shower him with the love he's so ready to return. Patriot is affectionate, loyal, and always ready for a good ear scratch or belly rub. If you're looking for a sweet, laid-back companion who will fit right into family life, Patriot is waiting to meet you and become your newest best friend.

Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Meet Mercy! Mercy is a beautiful 3-4 month old German Shepherd mix weighing about 25 pounds, and she has a heart every bit as beautiful as her name. Mercy and her three siblings were born into an unwanted litter and rescued from a small Texas town just days before they were scheduled to be euthanized. Thanks to that second chance, this sweet girl is now searching for a forever family who will love her for the rest of her life. Mercy is the definition of a people puppy. She loves everyone she meets and will happily follow her favorite humans from room to room, always wanting to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether you're working, relaxing, or heading outside, Mercy just wants to be by your side. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, should do great with cats, and is great with kids, making her a fantastic addition to just about any family. She also has an adorable playful side—you'll often catch her wading around in the kiddie pool or sticking her nose into the water to blow little bubbles, a quirky habit that's guaranteed to make you smile. And those eyes... Mercy has the sweetest puppy dog eyes that can melt even the toughest heart. One look at her soulful expression, and you'll be completely smitten. Mercy has already overcome so much in her short life, but she hasn't let it dull her loving spirit. She's ready to leave her past behind and start the next chapter with a family who will cherish her forever. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, fun-loving best friend, Mercy is ready to fill that role—and your heart.

Story
Animal Information: Niley is a 1-year-old female Shepsky mix with striking eyes and a beautiful coat. She’s friendly with both people and other dogs, but found herself at risk for euthanasia due to her extended stay at the shelter and the kennel stress that came with it. That environment can be especially tough on dogs like Niley, so once we had a committed foster in place, we were able to step in and save her life. Foster Profile:   Niley is a bit shy at first but very sweet and friendly! She’s a gentle dog who is interested in playing with other dogs, but nothing too rough and tumble. Niley is more human motivated than a typical Husky and comes and leans in for pats . She has the typical energy level of a young Husky, but is able to calm down better than expected and loves to snuggle with her people. Niley is crate and potty trained and walks well on leash. We think she  will benefit from ongoing structure and consistent training, but she is overall an easy going girl. She would love a home with a fenced yard if possible; breed experience would be a plus! Medical Note: Shortly after her arrival to Seattle, Niley developed some difficulty walking and balance issues. She has improved significantly on oral medication with very few residual symptoms. However, we believe she may require ongoing medication and will benefit from adopters comfortable managing these issues. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $400 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from San Bernardino in Modesto, CA. She will be transferred via Wigglebutts, arriving to foster care on 04/26/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.July 8, 2026, 5:44 pm
