Story
Coco is a sweet, gentle 12-year-old senior boy with a heart full of love and a mellow soul. This quiet little guy is looking for a calm, caring home where he can be someone’s constant companion. Coco is a dream housemate. He has excellent manners, is house-trained, and simply enjoys being near his person. Whether he’s lounging in the sun, napping beside you, or keeping you company on a quiet afternoon, Coco brings a steady, peaceful presence to your home. He especially loves relaxing outdoors and rolling in the grass, making him a perfect match for someone who enjoys a laid-back lifestyle. Both of his pet sitters absolutely loved their time with him, describing him as sweet, friendly, and a pleasure to care for. He travels well, perks up when it’s time to go for a car ride, and gets along great with kids and other dogs. Coco does have some separation anxiety, which he manages well with a daily medication given at breakfast. When you’re home, he’s calm, happy, and content just being by your side. Medical Notes: · Blind in his left eye; receives daily eye drops to manage glaucoma and support tear production · Prone to yeast infections in his ears, which are manageable with regular care · Takes daily medication to help with separation anxiety · Neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations Coco’s ideal home would be a peaceful one—possibly with an older adult or someone who’s home often—where he can enjoy love, stability, and the companionship he craves. If you’re ready to welcome a sweet senior into your heart and home, Coco might be your perfect match. Contact Linda (linda@3rrescue.org) to learn more about adopting this lovable little guy. The adoption application and process can be found at https://www.3rrescue.org/adopt/adoption-process. html. Coco is in foster in Palm Springs, CA. However, transport can be arranged.

Story
Fern – The Gentle Snugglebug Meet Fern, the soft-hearted sweetheart of the bunch. We believe she’s a Shih Tzu–Brussels Griffon mix, which explains her low-shedding coat and ridiculously cute Muppet face. At 9 weeks old and about 5.5 pounds, Fern is thriving in her Bay Area foster home and expected to grow into a perfect medium-sized mutt—about 14–20 lbs full grown. Fern is the calmest of her litter and would spend all day cuddled in your arms if you’d let her. She’s a sensitive girl who craves affection and security. Like all her siblings, Fern has no training yet and is looking for an adopter who is home most of the day (no more than 4 hours gone) and ready to commit to the socialization and structure every puppy needs. She’s fantastic with kids, dogs, and even cats. Fern’s ideal home includes a backyard, another calm and confident dog, and someone who will help her blossom through gentle guidance and daily engagement. Story
Oakley – The Easygoing Bestie Say hello to Oakley, the laid-back, lovable boy with a go-with-the-flow personality. This 9-week-old Shih Tzu–Brussels Griffon mix has the most neutral temperament of the litter—happy to match the energy of whoever he’s with, whether it’s a child, dog, or grown-up human. He’s currently thriving in a Bay Area foster home and expected to be about 14–20 pounds full grown. Oakley is easy to love but still a true puppy: untrained, energetic, and in need of structure and enrichment. He’s looking for a home with a yard, a companion dog, and people who understand that being small doesn’t mean being low-energy. Oakley does best with someone home most of the day, so he can bond, train, and grow into the loyal, friendly companion he’s meant to be. Story
Meet Jagger! This 4-year-old, 17-pound heartthrob is as handsome as he is sweet — and best of all, he’s a non-shedding pup who’ll need regular grooming to keep his adorable looks in check. Our best guess is he’s a Shih Tzu mix, possibly with a touch of Schnauzer or Yorkie. Jagger came to us as a stray from the Central Valley, and while we believe he was loved at some point, sadly no one came to claim him. But he’s not looking back — he’s now thriving in foster care here in the Bay Area and is ready for his forever family. He’s that perfect medium size, with a laid-back and friendly personality that makes him a total joy to be around. He’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, and would make an amazing companion for almost any home. Jagger loves car rides, sunbathing, curling up on a lap, and chewing on bones. He’s doing great with crate and house training, and he’d love to be your new walking buddy. Jagger is an all-around good boy who’s ready to bring love and warmth into your life — help us find him the home he truly deserves. Personality traits Affectionate, Quiet, Loyal, Smart, Gentle, Curious, Dignified, Independent, Easy Going

Story
Mossy – The Muppet-Faced Mischief Maker Mossy, the entertainer of the crew. This little guy is a Shih Tzu–Brussels Griffon mix with an expressive face, soaking wet fur (he loves the water bowl), and endless antics. At just 9 weeks old and 5.5 lbs, he’s thriving in his Bay Area foster home and expected to grow into a medium-sized mutt, 14–20 lbs full grown. Mossy is the most energetic and mischievous of the bunch. He’s high drive, endlessly curious, and always up for a game. He’ll need a very active adopter, a dog playmate, a yard, and most importantly, someone who isn’t gone all day—he’ll fall behind on training and get into trouble without supervision and stimulation. He’s great with other animals and kids, but he needs a home that sees his big personality as a bonus and is ready for lots of laughs and even more love.
