She is best in a home with people around a lot of the time. She chases cats but would do fine in a house with other dogs to keep her company. She is living with my elderly 88 year old parents who can not take care of her anymore although they love her dearly. They have had her since she was two when they rescued her from the shelter. They desperately hope to find a good home for her where she can be taken care of properly.

Here's some notes from his foster: First off Panda is just amazing, I mean look at his face! He's looks like a grumpy old man, but he is really just a goofy, super loving, go with flow, happy to be here kind of guy. Panda LOVES food (just no chicken bc he's allergic). He tends to drink A LOT of water after each meal, just when you think he's going to stop, he keeps drinking. Everything Panda does is just so entertaining! I'm not sure if it's because of his size or if he's a little clumsy but he likes to do things his own way, and I'm always excited to see how it plays out. Panda is house broken, eats wells, takes meds with no issues, walks nicely on a leash, sleeps through the night. Many dogs come to us from underserved, overwhelmed rural shelters. In this case, we have a backstory about Runi. This sweet and sensitive boy was very loved, but his mom was about to be homeless when he came to us. We're not sure what his story is with men, but it wasn't positive. He can be defensive with men. He's slowly learning to trust a male on our staff. Runi is not a typical "coffee shop dog" because he can be leash reactive too.
