Emily is looking for sponsors! She is a 10 pound, female shih-tzu born on 12/05/21. Emily was released by a breeder who decided they did not need her anymore. She lived in a cage at the breeder most of her life and has recently started to learn about being in a home with her foster mom. Unfortunately, she is very skittish and scared of everything around her and needs more time to decompress. We hope she gets better with time and can become adoptable. Hi, I’m Ivy I’m a 5-month-old Shih Tzu with a pink bow, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. I love toys. I love other dogs. Playtime is my happy place, and cuddles? Even better. I’m sweet, and always ready to be your little sidekick. I may be small, but my personality is mighty. I also want to share my story… I was going to be euthanized by my breeder — simply because I wasn’t “perfect.” Thankfully, a rescue stepped in and saved my life. Here’s my truth: I’m incontinent and I don’t have control of my back legs. I wear a diaper (and I’m very good about it!), need help with changes, and can’t do stairs. But none of that stops me from living a full, joyful life. I scoot wherever I want to go and don’t let anything dim my sparkle. I’m looking for a foster home or a forever family who sees my heart before my challenges. I’ll need a little extra care — and I’ll give you a lifetime of love in return.      This cutie-patootie is Miloe, a 8 year old, 12-15 pound, Shih Tzu mix with the most adorable underbite. Miloe is completely potty trained, crate trained, and a huge love bug! He loves to snuggle up with his people. He is easy-going with medium energy, not a high energy dog, but loves walks! In addition, he enjoys mild playing with other dogs, and would be great for kids 8 and older.       Because he has always had people home with him throughout the day, we are seeking adopters who can provide that for him. Miloe is crate trained and only uses it for comfort when he wants some “alone” time. He would love a fenced yard to run but will walk on a leash.       This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, provided inoculations, tested for parasites and other diseases, dewormed, neutered, and microchipped.  ADOPTION APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE BY REQUEST from acaringplace@comcast.netA Caring Place - All Breed Dog Rescue adopts throughout the Greater Chicagoland Area.
