Hi there. My name is Bandit and I’m a male 5-year-old Shih Tzu mix. I’m about 14 lbs., and full of personality. My cute face and big eyes are hard to resist. I love to play, but can be a bit rough at times. It’s something my foster mom is working on, but I still have some work to do. I love cuddling on the couch and will put my head on your lap and like to be hugged like a baby. As far as strangers, I can be a little unsure and snarky at first. So it’s best if I’m introduced to strangers slowly. Kids over 12 are best. I do think I’m the boss sometimes, so a firm but gentle hand is probably the best thing for me. I am potty trained and crate trained, in fact it’s my little safe space. If you leave the door open you will likely find me sleeping in there. I do love my walks and walk pretty good, but at first I can be a little excited and want to be the leader. I have also been known to do some zoomies in the yard as well. For me, a secured fenced yard is a bonus, but not required. I have been vet checked, neutered, micro chipped, heartworm tested negative, am up to date on routine shots including rabies and have been treated with flea & heartworm preventative. Bandit’s adoption fee is $495. Benji is a 6 month old, 10 pound male ShihTzu/Maltese mix. He loves everyone: humans and dogs! He loves playing with his 30lb foster cousin that visits. He is mostly house trained but needs reminders. He’s crate trained & sleeps quietly at night. Still being a young pup, he needs a family willing to devote the time & energy to his training. A fenced yard is a plus. Don’t forget, he will need regular visits to the groomer. His adoption fee is $550, which includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test (he is negative & on heartworm, flea & tick prevention) & microchip. Meet Tinker! She is guessed to be about 4 years old and weighs 10.5 lbs. She is a really sweet girl who will make a great companion. She's sweet, well-behaved, and lovable. She rides well in the car and does wonderful on walks. She would love her own fenced in yard with grass to roam and play in. She does have some narrowing of spaces between her vertebrae, Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). It will be important to ensure she does not jump on or off furniture, does not engage in high impact activities, or activities which could cause back strain- like sudden changes of direction, and that she maintains a healthy weight. Complications with IVDD can lead to paralysis and incontinence, so it is best to manage and prevent any back strain. Because of the IVDD she does have a slightly abnormal gait, but she gets around with no issues right now. Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Danny is sweet and adorable and looking for a great forever home! Danny was found as a stray and taken to a shelter. Both of his eyes were damaged so they were removed, he was neutered he got a dental, is up to date on shots, micro-chipped, heart-worm and fecal tested negative. He gets along fine being blind and is good with other dogs. Danny is friendly and sweet. He is about 15 years old, 13 lbs, a shih tzu, and will need regular brushing and grooming to keep his fur looking beautiful. His adoption fee has been sponsored!
