You know they say GOOD THINGS come in two’s…well this pair of beautiful senior girls are absolutely the definition of that “saying”.  Pulled from a poor home with no running water nor electricity, Hazel and Sassy are at your beck and call.  This perfect little dynamic duo are 10 pounds or less, loving, great on the leash and they are joined for life in a forever bond.  They are the best little girls who are said to be Shih Tzu mixes and Sassy is about 5 years and Hazel is around 9-10 years old.  Sassy is the white and red girl and Hazel is the darker brindle girl with one eye.  They are healthy and completely vetted with bloodwork, all shots done, fecal and giardia test done, microchipped, spayed, heartworm test done and full exam.  They are quiet, house trained and they are the easiest little ladies you will ever meet.  They are NOT runners and they are just looking for a quiet, calm, content home to lay their head for the rest of their life. Our four-year-old Shih Tzu here is named Sarabi! Sarabi is adorable and sweet, and her hair is silky soft, of course. Sarabi came to the shelter due to financial hardship. Her former owners could no longer provide her care. They were heartbroken because they loved her. Sarabi can be intimidated by other dogs. But if there were a resident small dog, we could host a dog meeting here at the shelter to see if she was open to friendship with those her size. She has never lived with cats, and she does have an interest in chasing things. She has lived with respectful children in the past so she could potentially do so in the future. Shes vocal so apartment-living may not work well for her! If you're interested in Sarabi, call the shelter at (603)-472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions to schedule an appointment to meet her!

Dunkin born 12/17/23. A very sweet boy. He is a nice mix of calm and playful. He loves to sit on your lap. Playful but not hyper. He gets along well with everyone including children. They became too old to sell to a store. They were surrendered to rescue for that reason. Needs work on housetraining. They are currently in boarding in the midwest. Tobi and Tyson are a package deal. Tobi is a full bred Chihuahua from a kennel in Pennsylvania, born April 28, 2019. Tyson is a full bred Shih Tzu from a different kennel in Pennsylvania, born September 11, 2018. We need to rehome them because we are moving apart and cannot take pets with us. We’d like keep them together, because they grew up together and are homebodies because we’ve worked from home for the past few years. Tyson is pretty codependent on Tobi and doesn’t like to be alone a lot, so Tobi is his best friend. Tobi is not as codependent. Neither of them are extremely socialized because of Covid, but Tyson is approachable and sweet. He gets along with people and children. Tobi is more temperamental, but is fine once he warms up to you. They like to have fun and play together and sleep together. We’d like them to have each other since they no longer have us. ❤️‍🩹They are up-to-date on their shots and they are home trained.
