Story
Sweet Willa is a 12 pound, 13 year old Shih Tzu mix (our best guess!) who was found as a stray in the Fort Worth area. Willa was blind, with very dry and painful eyes and is deaf. After having her eyes removed, Willa is adjusting beautifully to a life of no pain and lots of love. Despite all that she has been through, Willa is very gentle and sweet, quiet, she is great with other dogs and cats in her foster home, loves being outside, is great in the car, and loves to just nap and enjoy the good lief. She is currently learning how to navigate with a halo.

Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
