Story
We call this little family of terriers the Magnolia Park surrender. A woman living in a trailer park who recently had a stroke, is recovering but one of her dogs had puppies and it was all too much. She ended up surrendering all her dogs once learning they were in good hands. We have mom, dad, 4 babies and three other young pups that are most likely related. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
Lily completed her heartworm treatment, and she was just spayed at Oak Grove Animal Hospital. This means she is now ready to find her forever home! Lily is a 2 year old Shih Tzu/American Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 23lbs. Before joining the rescue, she had little to no human contact and feared most interaction with her fosters. Since being in their home, however, she has made so much progress! Her future adopters need to be patient and understanding and must take things slow with her. She does not sit in laps but likes to sleep in bed with her fosters at night. She doesn’t like to be crated, but her fosters put her in her kennel when they leave the house. Lily thrives around other dogs, so she needs a canine companion to serve as a mentor to her. She will follow what they do and learn from them! She is the most sweet and gentle little soul. If you are interested in adopting Lily, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1998170##

Story
Hello! My name is AJ. I’m an 8 year old girl and weigh about 12 lbs. In my previous life I was a breeder dog so I’m a bit timid, and will need someone with patience that will help me adjust and become confident in my new home. My foster mom says I’ve made a lot of progress. My potty manners are usually pretty good, but still have an occasional accident. I do know how to use the dog door. I learned that quite quickly! I like to roll around on the carpet and play with my hooman sister’s scrunchies. I love having my ears and booty scratched. I get along with other dogs but I don’t really play with them, they’ve just been teaching me how to be a dog. I love to eat and sleep in my bed. I am spayed, current on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and had bloodwork and dental cleaning done.
