Meet “Material Girl” Taffeta! Sweet Taffeta is a 7-year-old girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. She is a very shy, scared little girl, but we’re already seeing glimpses of the sweet dog underneath that uncertainty. Taffeta is learning so much by watching the other dogs around her. Their confidence is helping her discover that she doesn’t have to be afraid, and she is making progress every day. We’re still getting to know this precious girl, but we have a feeling it won’t be long before she realizes that people can be trusted and starts making her way over for some love. Taffeta will need a patient, understanding family who will give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell. Thankfully, the veterinary staff stepped in and contacted Tzu Zoo Rescue, giving him a second chance at life. He is currently being treated for a yeasty skin infection and is already well on his way to recovery. Despite everything hes been through, Obie remains a happy, gentle little guy with a wonderful temperament. He gets along great with other dogs, is house trained, and truly loves everyone he meets. Obie is a resilient, affectionate companion who is ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter in a loving forever home. Have you met Connor??? He’s 7yo, 17lb Lhasa kiss machine. Yes, he likes to let you know he wuvs you. Being a lhasa comes with having an opinion and expressing dislike with a grrr. Just take heed to the warning and all is well. Connor is the ultimate companion. He loves to be with his person but could deal with some time alone with confidence. Other dogs are inconvenient for Connor, so only dog status is preferred. Because of his opinions, best to not pair with younger folks.
