Story
I am totally into a zen life. No little kids running around or other cats trying to make friends with you. I enjoy my space, laying in bed with you, sit on your desk when you are working and hanging out in the kitchen when you are cooking…did I mention I love treats? I can get into a playful mode with interactive ones and I also enjoy playing fetch with hair ties. Only interested in having one cat, then what are you waiting for?

Story
Yeti becomes available at our Purradise found event in Arlington Heights Petco  6/13 from 11-4. Please read the entire bio to ensure Smokey could be a fit for your family before applying! We know he will get a lot of attention, so please apply quickly if you are seriously interested! Premium Breed Pricing will apply. Check out our webiste for more info.  Applicants must live within 2 hour drive of the Chicagoland area.  Meet Yeti! Don't let his legendary name fool you—Yeti is much easier to find than his mythical counterpart! This handsome young boy loves being where the action is and is always ready for his next adventure. Curious, playful, and full of personality, Yeti enjoys exploring every nook and cranny of his home ‍. Whether he's investigating a new box , climbing to the highest perch , or supervising whatever you're doing, Yeti likes to stay involved in all the fun. He approaches life with confidence and curiosity, making every day an adventure. While he loves to explore, Yeti is also a total sweetheart. One of his favorite things is spending time with his people, and his purr motor starts up the moment he gets attention. Give him a few pets and you'll quickly discover that this boy has plenty of love to share. Yeti would thrive in a home where he has a feline companion to wrestle, play, and cuddle with. Because kittens do best with a friend, Yeti must go home with another young cat under 2 years old. Higher priority will be given to adopters interested in welcoming Yeti and his brother, Bigfoot, home together! The two make a wonderful pair and would love to continue their adventures side by side. If you're looking for a playful explorer, a champion purr machine, and a lovable best friend all wrapped into one adorable kitten, Yeti may be the perfect addition to your family! Story
Flower is an absolutely stunning lynx point Siamese whose beauty is matched only by her quiet strength. With her soft cream-colored coat, delicate features, and soulful blue eyes, she is the kind of cat who captures your heart from across the room. While Flower is still learning to trust people, there is a gentle sweetness about her that shines through, especially when she feels safe and secure in her surroundings. Flower is searching for a quiet, child-free home with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. Rescued from a feral colony, she has overcome tremendous adversity and continues to make progress every day. Because she is naturally timid and cautious, Flower often feels safest curled up in a cozy hiding spot where she can observe the world at her own pace. She would do best with an adopter who understands cat behavior and/or has experience socializing shy cats. While Flower could be happy as a solo cat, she shares an incredibly special bond with her son, Casper, and would be thrilled to find a forever home where they could stay together. The two love to play, cuddle, and provide comfort to one another. Although Flower is still wary of people, she has already shown that she wants to connect. In her foster home, she has chosen a special safe spot where she enjoys receiving slow, gentle pets from people she trusts. She isn't the kind of cat who will demand attention, but when she feels secure, she quietly allows affection and shows glimpses of the loving companion she is becoming. Every small step she takes feels like a victory, and watching her gain confidence is incredibly rewarding. Flower's journey from a feral colony to indoor life has required tremendous courage. She still has a long road ahead, and her future family will need to understand that it may take weeks, months, or even longer before she feels completely comfortable around people. But beneath her cautious exterior is a cat with so much love to give. She simply needs kind, understanding humans who are willing to let her progress at her own pace and celebrate every milestone along the way. For the right adopter, Flower will be a deeply rewarding companion. Her story is one of resilience, perseverance, and hope, and she deserves a family that will see the incredible potential behind her shy demeanor. Whether she joins your home on her own or alongside her beloved son Casper, Flower is ready for a future filled with patience, compassion, and the chance to finally feel safe, loved, and home! Story
Blue is a gentle, soft-hearted girl who is still discovering just how wonderful people can be. With her quiet nature and thoughtful personality, she's the kind of cat who takes her time getting comfortable, but watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. Blue loves finding cozy places to curl up for a nap and has a knack for locating the most unexpected hiding spots. Beneath her shy exterior is a sweet, affectionate cat who is learning every day that human companionship can be pretty wonderful. Blue is looking for a calm home with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. Because large, unfamiliar spaces can feel overwhelming to her, she will do best starting out in a smaller room, such as a bathroom or spare bedroom, where she can safely adjust to her new surroundings and bond with her new people. If given free reign of a large home too soon, Blue is likely to find a hiding spot and stay there for days. In a smaller space, she gains confidence much more quickly and can focus on building relationships with the people who love her. An adults-only household, or one with older, gentle, cat-savvy teens, would be ideal for this sensitive girl. One thing that has become clear in foster care is that Blue truly enjoys the company of other cats. She gets along well with the resident cats in her foster home and likes having feline friends around. A confident, friendly cat companion could be a wonderful influence as she continues to build her confidence. While she hasn't had direct interaction with dogs, she has seen and heard them from a distance, and may be able to adjust to a respectful dog with slow introductions. Once Blue feels safe, her loving personality begins to shine. She enjoys pets, seeks out attention, and absolutely loves being picked up and held like a baby. Her foster mom's favorite thing is carrying her around while Blue relaxes contentedly in her arms. Although she's not especially interested in most toys, she definitely appreciates a little catnip and enjoys spending time with her feline friends. The more comfortable she becomes, the more affectionate she reveals herself to be. Blue may not be the cat who immediately greets visitors at the door, but for someone willing to give her patience, understanding, and the gentle introduction she needs, she will blossom into a devoted and loving companion. Every day she grows a little braver, and her future family will have the joy of watching her continue that journey while gaining a loyal friend for life. Story
Casper is a breathtaking lynx point Siamese with striking blue eyes, a soft cream-colored coat, and a gentle soul that is still learning how wonderful life can be. While he may not be the type of cat who immediately jumps into your lap, Casper has a quiet charm that draws people in. He loves being near his people, keeping them company with his calm, persistent presence, and watching the world go by from a cozy spot on the couch or a sunny window perch. Casper is looking for a calm, child-free home with patient, understanding adults who can appreciate him for exactly who he is. Rescued from a feral colony, he has made incredible progress with his socialization and continues to blossom every day. He would thrive with an adopter who understands cat behavior and/or has experience helping socialize shy cats to help them build confidence. Casper is not a fan of being picked up or handled roughly, and he prefers to move at his own pace when it comes to affection. He absolutely loves other cats and would prefer to have a feline companion in his forever home. If possible, he would be thrilled to be adopted with his beloved mom and best friend, Flower. One thing Casper never hesitates about is playtime! Wand toys, balls, catnip-filled toys—if it moves, there's a good chance Casper wants to chase it. He can often be found calling out to the resident cats in his foster home, inviting them to join him for a game. He also loves climbing cat trees and keeping an eye on everything from above. Although he is still learning to trust human touch, he has made remarkable strides. He now enjoys gentle pets and has even flopped over for belly scratches from a back scratcher, which remains one of his favorite ways to connect with people. A back scratcher will be a wonderful tool for helping his future family continue building trust and strengthening their bond with him. Casper's journey hasn't been easy, but his progress is a testament to his resilience and willingness to learn to trust. He is curious about people, often approaching for a sniff and wanting to be part of whatever is happening around him. While it takes him time to fully warm up and accept touch from new people, every small victory feels incredibly rewarding. With patience, compassion, and a feline friend by his side, Casper will continue to grow into the wonderful companion he's meant to be. If you're the kind of person who understands that trust is earned and that the deepest bonds are sometimes built slowly, Casper may be the perfect addition to your family. Watching this handsome boy gain confidence and discover how loved he truly is will be a gift unlike any other!
