Cassie is an 11-year-old, 10-pound Flame-Point Siamese mix, fixed, with all of her claws and all her shots are up to date and she has a VERY sweet and loving personality and she is a talker (if you have ever seen videos of Siberian Huskey's talk - that is Cassie too). 🙂 She enjoys affection, companionship, and being near her person. Due to some digestive issues, she only eats dry food and overall has a very simple routine - food, water, play, and litter.

Meet Hunter! 🐾 Hunter is a beautiful 4-year-old cat with a gorgeous coat and the most striking blue eyes you've ever seen. This gentle soul has a quiet, thoughtful personality and is slowly but surely building confidence every day. While Hunter is still a bit nervous, she's beginning to show her curious side. She has started venturing out more often and can sometimes be found sitting outside her hidey spots in her kennel, peacefully watching the world go by. These small moments are a wonderful sign of the progress she's making as she continues to feel more comfortable. Hunter enjoys having cozy places where she can relax and observe her surroundings, and she'll thrive in a home that allows her to settle in at her own pace. With patience, understanding, and a calm environment, she'll continue to blossom and grow more confident each day. The best friendships are often the ones that take a little time, and Hunter is well worth the wait. If you're looking for a gentle companion and are ready to give her the time and reassurance she needs, you'll have the privilege of watching this sweet girl come out of her shell and become a beloved member of your family. Stop in and meet Hunter in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Morgana is a gorgeous, very sweet and affectionate, young lady.  She seems to be unbothered by the dogs in her foster home and she is doing pretty well with the other cats also.  She would be fine as an only cat but would probably be okay with another cat in the house after the right introduction.  She is okay with kids as well.  We think she had been an indoor/outdoor cat previously because she meows at the door so her new home will have to be careful with doors until she is better acclimated to being indoor only.  She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $200 To adopt Morgana, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/formsVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2026, 3:39 pm

Casper is a breathtaking lynx point Siamese with striking blue eyes, a soft cream-colored coat, and a gentle soul that is still learning how wonderful life can be. While he may not be the type of cat who immediately jumps into your lap, Casper has a quiet charm that draws people in. He loves being near his people, keeping them company with his calm, persistent presence, and watching the world go by from a cozy spot on the couch or a sunny window perch. Casper is looking for a calm, child-free home with patient, understanding adults who can appreciate him for exactly who he is. Rescued from a feral colony, he has made incredible progress with his socialization and continues to blossom every day. He would thrive with an adopter who understands cat behavior and/or has experience helping socialize shy cats to help them build confidence. Casper is not a fan of being picked up or handled roughly, and he prefers to move at his own pace when it comes to affection. He absolutely loves other cats and would prefer to have a feline companion in his forever home. If possible, he would be thrilled to be adopted with his beloved mom and best friend, Flower. One thing Casper never hesitates about is playtime! Wand toys, balls, catnip-filled toys—if it moves, there's a good chance Casper wants to chase it. He can often be found calling out to the resident cats in his foster home, inviting them to join him for a game. He also loves climbing cat trees and keeping an eye on everything from above. Although he is still learning to trust human touch, he has made remarkable strides. He now enjoys gentle pets and has even flopped over for belly scratches from a back scratcher, which remains one of his favorite ways to connect with people. A back scratcher will be a wonderful tool for helping his future family continue building trust and strengthening their bond with him. Casper's journey hasn't been easy, but his progress is a testament to his resilience and willingness to learn to trust. He is curious about people, often approaching for a sniff and wanting to be part of whatever is happening around him. While it takes him time to fully warm up and accept touch from new people, every small victory feels incredibly rewarding. With patience, compassion, and a feline friend by his side, Casper will continue to grow into the wonderful companion he's meant to be. If you're the kind of person who understands that trust is earned and that the deepest bonds are sometimes built slowly, Casper may be the perfect addition to your family. Watching this handsome boy gain confidence and discover how loved he truly is will be a gift unlike any other!
