Both are spayed, but not up to date on shots. The orange we brought in as a stray in 2020 and has loved being an indoor cat ever since. Both use litter box without issue. The Siamese is a bit on the round side, with a hanging gut. She still has a lot of energy to run around. Both have been great around other cats/dogs, as well as children under 3 years.

Declawing is more accurately described by the term de-knuckling and is not merely the removal of the claws, as the term “declawing” implies. In humans, fingernails grow from the skin, but in animals that hunt prey, the claws grow from the bone; therefore, the last bone is amputates so the claw cannot re-grow. Declawing is one of the most painful, routinely performed procedures in all of veterinary medicine. Each toe of the cat is amputated at the first joint. Declawing a cat is equivalent in a person to amputating the entire first knuckle of every finger.   Declawing is done strictly for the benefit of the owner. There are NO benefits to the cat and NO good reasons to declaw.   Declawing can lead to behavior changes. A declawed cat has no way to defend itself and may resort to biting more often. Due to pain, they may stop using the litterbox.   There are humane alternatives to declawing. Cats can be trained to use scratching posts. They should have their nails trimmed regularly. There is double sided sticky tape that can be put on furniture to deter a cat from scratching there. There are also nail caps called Soft Paws that are glued onto a cat's nail without harm. ##2651348##

Shamrock and Chopstick are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered , and litter box trained. If you’re looking for a spunky, chatty companion with plenty of personality, Mocha might be your purrfect match! This lovely lady is a former ARF kitty who was sadly returned when her adopter’s health took a turn. It took her a little while to adjust, but now her true diva nature is shining through. Mocha LOVES to talk! She’ll meow for attention, tell you about her day, and make sure you know exactly what she’s thinking. She’s also a bit of a shadow—she’ll follow you around the house to keep tabs on everything going on. Don’t worry though, she’s not one to get in your way; she just wants to stay in the loop! While Mocha can be a bit sassy (a quick hiss now and then when she’s not pleased), she’s never aggressive. She just likes to keep things clear—after all, she’s a lady of discerning taste. When she’s in the mood for love, she’ll happily curl up in your lap or snuggle with you at night. She’d love to be your sleep buddy and would make an excellent cuddle partner.
