Story
Name: Nixi KaiBreed: Red Point Siamese MixDOB: 2/3/2025Good with kids: YESGood with dogs: YESGood with cats: YESFoster location: Wisc Dells, WIAdoption fee: $100 Fun Bio: These babes will be ready for adoption when they are 8-10 weeks old. So we have some time, but follow their story! Get an application in, and be patient OR apply for one of our already kittens or cats! If interested in a pet from us please fill out the adoption application that is located on our website. We process applications in the order in which they are received. We will likely not respond to interest emails regarding puppies and/or kittens, we get so many "interest" emails that we simply do not have the time to respond to each one.   We always recommend playtime, positive reinforcement training and a regular schedule for feeding times when bringing a new cat/kitten into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time! Included in the adoption fee are age appropriate vaccinations, FeLV/FIV testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and microchip.   Anti-Declawing Policy: All cats and kittens will have a no declaw policy in their adoption contract with us!   Declawing is a series of bone amputations. Declawing is more accurately described by the term de-knuckling and is not merely the removal of the claws, as the term “declawing” implies. In humans, fingernails grow from the skin, but in animals that hunt prey, the claws grow from the bone; therefore, the last bone is amputates so the claw cannot re-grow. Declawing is one of the most painful, routinely performed procedures in all of veterinary medicine. Each toe of the cat is amputated at the first joint. Declawing a cat is equivalent in a person to amputating the entire first knuckle of every finger.   Declawing is done strictly for the benefit of the owner. There are NO benefits to the cat and NO good reasons to declaw.   Declawing can lead to behavior changes. A declawed cat has no way to defend itself and may resort to biting more often. Due to pain, they may stop using the litterbox.   There are humane alternatives to declawing. Cats can be trained to use scratching posts. They should have their nails trimmed regularly. There is double sided sticky tape that can be put on furniture to deter a cat from scratching there. There are also nail caps called Soft Paws that are glued onto a cat's nail without harm. ##2651348##

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact ShTa for more information about this pet. Thanks for your interest in a pet from A.R.F.! If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/   Meet Mocha – The Sassy Siamese Senior! If you’re looking for a spunky, chatty companion with plenty of personality, Mocha might be your purrfect match! This lovely lady is a former ARF kitty who was sadly returned when her adopter’s health took a turn. It took her a little while to adjust, but now her true diva nature is shining through. Mocha LOVES to talk! She’ll meow for attention, tell you about her day, and make sure you know exactly what she’s thinking. She’s also a bit of a shadow—she’ll follow you around the house to keep tabs on everything going on. Don’t worry though, she’s not one to get in your way; she just wants to stay in the loop! While Mocha can be a bit sassy (a quick hiss now and then when she’s not pleased), she’s never aggressive. She just likes to keep things clear—after all, she’s a lady of discerning taste. When she’s in the mood for love, she’ll happily curl up in your lap or snuggle with you at night. She’d love to be your sleep buddy and would make an excellent cuddle partner. Mocha is currently on a special kidney diet to support her early-stage kidney disease. She’s doing well and hasn’t shown any progression of the condition, but she’ll need regular check-ups to make sure she stays healthy. Mocha would prefer to be the queen of her domain, so she’s looking for a home where she can be the only feline royalty. She’s also fine with calm, gentle dogs, as long as they respect her space. If you think you can handle this little diva with a heart of gold, Mocha is ready to meet her forever family! Could it be you?   Mocha  is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,  spayed, and litter box trained. Mocha's adoption fee is $150.  If you are interested in meeting Mocha, please fill out our Online Application today!   Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! We are  based in Wheaton, IL and conduct adoption events in the DuPage County area. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please submit an adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/  Adoption appointments are scheduled based on the order of applications received, so submit your application early! Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. Due to a high volume of applications, we are often unable to respond to questions or schedule meetings until your application has been approved. More information about our adoption process can be found on our website here: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/ As an all-volunteer, foster home-based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. Please visit https://www.arf-il.org/events/ for a list of our upcoming adoption events.  Thank you for choosing to adopt, not shop! April 22, 2026, 6:08 pm

Story
I enjoy life in the slow lane, watching the birds and enjoying all the blankets and beds. While I am bunking with another mellow cat, I don’t really take well to other cats, especially if they hiss or are trying to create trouble. I love canned food and treats so make sure you got plenty of both. I can also get quite talkative, after all most of us have opinions on different topics. I do have a mass on my spine and was seen by a specialist but I’m not a candidate for surgery. I can still get around and have no problems getting up on the bench to sit on the window sill. I’m therefore available as a permanent foster or of course for adoption.

Story
My brother, Emu, and I were born outside and luckily we got rescued in January when the weather got super cold. Soft blankets are perfect to feel safe and always help me fall asleep in someone’s arms. I’m very bonded to my brother so we also had our little bed where the two of us could snuggle together and dream about the day we would get adopted. I can even be found hugging him at times. He helps me feel safe. String toys and little balls make me happy but even better is when I get to play with my brother. We chase each other through the tunnel, ambushing each other and just having a riot. I would love to get adopted with my brother. After all, we have already gone through so much together. The second adoption fee is 50% off for Double the Love, Double the Fun. I’m at the PetSmart in Kildeer on Route 12.
