He'll choose to sit right in between my partner and me on the couch, curl up next to me in bed, or even sit in the dining chair next to us. He always loves to be near you, and if he wants attention, he'll gently paw you until you do, and it's the cutest thing ever! He loves to roll around on the floor for a belly rub, knows how to sit, spin, and high-five, and gets along with cats with different personalities! Meet Fortune : Your Quiet, Blue-Eyed Companion 🐾 Fortune is a stunning, blue-eyed boy with a gentle soul and a quiet way of making himself part of your everyday life. This intelligent Siamese–Russian Blue thrives in a calm, loving home and forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. Fortune came to Four Paws from a partner shelter in Southern Virginia after his owner sadly passed away. He had been living in a quiet home, and that background really shows, he feels most comfortable in a peaceful environment with a predictable routine. He’s more of a “be near you” cat than a “be on you” cat. Fortune loves curling up nearby, keeping you company while you go about your day. When he wants attention, he’ll let you know with a soft, sweet meow. He’s incredibly smart (he’ll even come running when you call him!) and has a quiet, loyal presence that makes him easy to love. Fortune can be timid and a bit jumpy at first, especially in new environments. But with patience and a calm approach, he truly settles in and lets his affectionate, gentle personality shine. He has done well bonding with teens and will build a strong connection with a family who understands that trust takes a little time. Because of his sensitive nature, Fortune should be the only cat, as he can be territorial and feels most secure when he doesn’t have to share his space. Fortune does have some anxiety and is currently on medication to help him feel his best. He also has asthma, which is well-managed with daily medication. He takes both easily and does very well with a consistent routine. Robin is a petite and slender Siamese lady, by appearances a lilac point. She comes to 4Paws from a rescue partner in Oak Hill WV after being surrendered by her owner who could not afford care for the many cats in the home. She has a confident and friendly personality. In her foster home she is getting along well with the resident cats. She is not interested in playing with any of them--in fact the ones that try to engage her in physical play get rebuffed -- but she has become a snuggle buddy with a few. For the most part she is a couch potato but on occasion she will play by herself with a fresh catnip banana. She enjoys 24/7 access to a good quality chicken-based kibble and twice-daily servings of juicy Fancy Feast canned as well as Temptations treats. She uses an open top, high sided litter box with World's Best unscented corn litter. She often follows her foster mom around the house and ends up chilling out in the same room, but she also spends time snoozing with one of the other cats. She likes human attention and petting. Because she likes being around another cat, she is best suited to a home with a friendly, low-key kitty to be a quiet companion. Rajah was found as a stray in Lexington VA, brought to the shelter, and put on stray hold awaiting an owner to claim him. No one did, and 4Paws brought him north to find his forever home. Since he was found as a stray, we have no knowledge whether he gets along with other cats or with children. The shelter staff found he got upset and scared at the sight/sound of the dogs there, so the adoptive home needs to be free of dogs. As we get to know him we will add personality traits. Rajah is neutered, current on vaccines, and tested negative for FiV/FELV. 6 years old Personality: calm, friendly, independent, outgoing Christy is an easygoing girl with the perfect mix of independence and affection. She’s happy to do her own thing but never turns down the chance to curl up next to you for a cuddle. Christy settled into her foster home right away and is always curious about what’s going on around her. Toys seem to be new concept to her, but so far she loves a ribbon wand and has quickly learned to love playtime. Christy was really excited to make friends with the resident cats. Greetings Here is Cotton. About 1-1.5yo old. Male Flame Point Siamese. Cotton was abandoned at a home on a dead-end road. He was found and taken by a wonderful lady. He is good with cats and dogs.
