You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Hi there!  My family could not keep me as I kept tripping them up so the vet asked NTCR to try and find me a good new home since I'm only 8 and have lots of life yet.  I don't get under foot in my foster home too much though I will appear out of nowhere for pets and when TREATS are involved.  I love to chill on the low cat tree by the window and will meow at you from in hiding when I want extra attention.  Beds are great for curling up in and make me feel safe. I'm a little chunky but foster mom says it makes me look cute with my short legs.  I may have some allergies as my face had a rash when I was given up but a little medicine and good food and I seem good now. I haven't bonded with the kitties in my foster home - the babies are just annoying - but I'm a live and let live kind of girl so just give me time to adjust and other animals would probably be ok but if you are looking to have only one...look no further! Do you have room in your home and heart for a talking lovebug like me?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com. October 2, 2023, 7:21 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Herbie is an exceptionally sweet boy...who's impossible to get a good photo of because he just wants to be loved! He was left in a carrier in the 100+ temps outside of a local ranch. Thankfully, the owners happened to walk to the gate and found him. They immediately brought him to their vet, which happens to be an NTCR vet too. Herbie had a badly injured leg and while he got the best care – lots of TLC and medical care, he ultimately needed that leg amputated. (It's his right, rear leg.) Herbie is fully recovered and while he only has 3 legs, it doesn’t slow him down. He’s very playful and loves toys. He’s also incredibly affectionate! He’s an expert biscuit maker who drools a LOT when he’s kneading and happy. His tongue sticks out when he’s doing this too, so the drool is excessive. There's nothing wrong with his mouth or teeth to cause the drool. Some cats do this when they're really happy and he's one of them. He is being slowly introduced to other cats with mixed results. He'd probably be happiest as an only cat. He is not fostered with dogs so we don't know how he'd do with dogs. Herbie does not like car rides and will unleash his Siamese MEOWWWW to vocalize his displeasure. If you’re interested in meeting or adopting Herbie, please complete an application on NTCR’s website at www.northtexascatrescue.com. His adoption fee is $150. If you see Herbie on a site other than NTCR’s, please check out our site to verify he is available for adoption. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Story
Flame is a super sweet boy. He is 1 years old. He is half Russian Blue and half Thai Siamese. His coat is a beautiful flame point from the Thai Lilac Siamese side. He is a good healthy size, and is going to get bigger. He has a small faint blue mark on the back of his head from the Russian Blue side I put a picture of his sister that was adopted. He loves to play with laser pointers and dangle toys. He is litter box trained and is up to date on shots. He loves other cats, kids, and does well with dogs. He loves to sing to you, but he is not noisey. He is happy to see you for sure :) He is fully vaccinated for one year, and up to date on preventatives. His health DNA test clears him from major genetic health conditions. His adoption fee is 350.

Story
Introducing Charlie, a gorgeous Flame Point Siamese mix boy. He was rescued by a kind person when he and his four siblings were found all alone near an apartment complex with no mom in sight. Charlie is such a sweet boy.  He will absolutely melt your heart when he climbs into your lap and looks up at you with those big blue eyes!  He loves to play and can usually be found roughhousing with his brother Augustus.  So far, he seems to be the most snuggly of the bunch, usually being the first to claim a spot on his foster’s lap. He’s a curious little guy who loves to explore! Charlie loves to climb me and perch on his foster's shoulder. His estimated birth date is April 15, 2023. Please visit our website at tmhpr.com for more information about our organization and our available pets.  Safe pet home visits & vet checks are required. For this reason, we only adopt locally - in the Dallas area. If you are interested in meeting or adopting one of our available pets, please fill out the adoption application found at:   tmhpr.com .
