Siamese kittens & cats in Allen, Texas

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Casey:  Snowshoe Siamese, DOB 4/12/18, Male, affectionately know as Big Daddy Sasha: Turkish Van Calico, DOB 10/26/21, female Casey and Sasha ended up in a local shelter when their owner died and the executor of the estate didn’t know what to do with the cats.  The owner originally adopted Casey from Cat Matchers when he was a kitten.  Luckily, he had a microchip and we were contacted.  Sasha was adopted by the owner through a different rescue group.  Per the shelter, the rescue declined to take Sasha back.  Casey and Sasha were sitting on top of each other in the shelter cages.  They were terrified and bonded to the point that if they could have crawled into each other’s body, they probably would have.  Cat Matchers decided to take Sasha back in with Casey.   Casey and Sasha were really depressed and stopped eating for a while.  They had to be syringe and hand fed at first.   Casey had all of his teeth removed prior to our picking him up from the shelter.   Sasha ended up needing her teeth removed as well, so we took care of that.    Even though they are missing their teeth, they can eat small kibble dry food and wet food just fine. Sasha is very affectionate. She likes to be held. She will put both her arms around your neck, hang on tight and kiss and kiss and kiss she does kiss a lot and it can be annoying to the wrong person. Big daddy is very outgoing and very friendly. He’s not a giant fan of being held but maybe down the road. It’s not fear it’s just he’s really playful and outgoing and he loves baby talk so if whoever picks him up could baby talk with him that would go a long way to keeping him from reverting back to fear and would be great given all that he’s been through. He really responds to baby talk. These 2 wonderful cats are bonded and should be adopted together. Meet gorgeous Snowflake! She came to TMHPR from a local animal shelter where she ended up all by herself. She is a rare female Flame Point Siamese with the darkest orange tail and increasingly darker orange highlights on her nose, ears and feet. That tail could have it's own Facebook page! She has beautiful blue eyes and the sweetest disposition. She likes to give tiny kisses on the end of your nose, but be alert, once in a while she likes to take a little loving nip! Overwhelmed love for the humans, but a little ouch! She is a confident, extremely busy girl. If you have a fishing pole toy, she is your best friend. She will pause for a few minutes to shower you with love and purrs before she is off and playing again. Snowflake is food-motivated and rushes to you to eat when you are getting the bowls ready. She is obsessed with Churu treats and does not want to believe the packet is empty, when, in fact, it is. Just try and walk away! Snowflake has spent some time around big dogs and is fine. She has no problem bopping them on the nose. This is Boots. A stunning Lynx Point Siamese girl. She came to TMHPR after a kind person found her and a sibling all alone on the streets after their mother was hit by a car. Boots has a very sweet disposition. This girl sits in her foster mom’s lap and gently rubs herself all over her, then, settles in for an air biscuit fest, loud purrs and all and a nap. Total lap baby. Loves to play and is fierce with the heart of a hunter. Watch out toy mice! She is confident, independent and has no problem looking you right in the eyes with those sparkling baby blues that can melt the heart. Offering slow blinks is her superpower…another action that can melt some human hearts. She would be fine as an only cat, but does enjoy a good romp with her brother. So, a cat buddy may be in her future in a new home. With proper introduction we think she would be fine with a friendly playmate. Have we mentioned her beautiful blue eyes, enough? Meet Tiptoe! This handsome lynx point boy is as sweet as they come and wants nothing more than to be cuddled by his fosters (except maybe wet food).  Tiptoe came to us from a colony of community cats as a potential TNR candidate, but it was quickly obvious that he was too friendly and had too many dental issues to thrive outside. After assessment by the vet, we found that Tiptoe has stomatitis and we made the decision to have all his teeth removed due to this chronic condition. Since his dental extraction was completed and he's healed up fully, Tiptoe is happier than ever and still enjoys scarfing down kibble and canned food alike, much more easily now that his mouth doesn't hurt. This guy loves playing with wand toys and can chase them around as long as someone will indulge him. He's still a young cat who has a lot of energy but is ultimately a big cuddle bug who can't resist when his human companions are at a desk where we can plop all over them for attention.  Tiptoe is still getting acclimated to new people outside of his foster family, but once he warms up, you'll find it impossible to keep him off you. He would be so happy to have a cat friend to play with and has enjoyed the company of small dogs too! Our Adoption Process: Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo an in person or virtual home visit from an RHS representative. We also get a reference from your vet, if applicable. Home Visit. If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will set up a visit where you can meet the pet you are interested in. We will try to include the foster parent so you can learn more about how the pet is in a home environment. Due to COVID, we may ask you to send a video of your yard and the pet's expected living space. Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at your home or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs, $300 for puppies (under 1 year) and $135 for cats. Lily is such a beautiful young girl, she really loves attention. She was rescued from a colony in June and is about 1 year. She is negative for FeLV/FIV she was spayed, vaccinated and microchipped . Her foster mom says she full of energy but has not had time to see how she would do with her cats so we're unsure about that. She really is such a cute girl
