Meet Sevyn! Sevyn is a beautiful 2-year-old siamese with a gentle soul and a heart that takes a little time to open up. She is very shy and skittish, especially in new environments or around unfamiliar people. While you may not see her right away, don't mistake her quiet nature for unfriendliness—Sevyn has never been aggressive, doesn't hiss, bite, or fight with people or other cats. She gets along well with other cats and tends to keep to herself. Her experience with dogs is unknown. Sevyn is comfortable sharing space with people, but she's not the type to immediately seek attention or cuddles. She'll need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. The special thing about Sevyn is that once she chooses her person, she becomes incredibly loving and devoted. Beneath her timid exterior is a sweet cat who wants to feel safe and loved. She is a beautiful flame point Siamese, which is such a fun breed; many liken them to having dog-like qualities. She is social, and despite her age, has bursts of playfulness. She does not scratch furniture as she has a huge cat tower she comes with that she likes to scratch and perch on. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle up in your lap on a blanket and pillow and purr herself to sleep. She will need to be the only animal in the home, and she would do best in a house without young children, however, she has no issue with them. Dolly Purrton is a beautiful lynx point Siamese kitten who is looking for a loving forever home! This girl is a total purr machine and loves to make biscuits while her motor is running on high.  Dolly was found in a colony of community cats in east Dallas and was spayed as part of a TNR effort. Her finders quickly realized she was too friendly to go back outside and connected with RHS to get her into the rescue. She is a curious and super sweet little girl who loves attention and having a kitty friend around. Dolly will be happiest in a home with another cat to help show her the ropes, and we think she'd adapt quickly to a cat friendly dog as well.   Our Adoption Process: Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo an in person or virtual home visit from an RHS representative. Loud noises and busy households make him anxious, and he may hide around unfamiliar people.Momo has lived with small dogs and can tolerate calm dogs that respect his space, but energetic dogs stress him out.
