Story
**COURTESY POST** Marlo is a beautiful Chocolate Point Siamese mix female born approximately 11/1/2022. Marlo was a colony cat in a mobile home park where she had a litter of kittens. After a resident stated that he was going to “get rid of the cats”, the colony manager begged a friend to please take her. NBCR was then contacted to try to help this beautiful girl find a forever home. Marlo, in true Siamese fashion, is a VERY talkative and VERY playful girl. She displays all the physical and social traits associated with the Siamese breed. She is gorgeous with dreamy blue eyes and an elongated face. She is talkative, playful, and a “velcro” kitty. This diva LOVES to be the center of attention at all times. She enjoys pets, scratches, and will melt into your lap as you brush her. Marlo has an assertive personality, but given time and a proper SLOW introduction, she will get along with another cat. If you would like more information or to schedule an appointment to meet Marlo, please contact: Brenda Jackson at either 972/533-8343 or bjfnord@yahoo.com.May 22, 2025, 3:27 pm

Recently retired from being a mama, she’s now ready to enjoy the quiet, pampered life she truly deserves. This lovely lady is calm, quiet, and reserved—an old soul in a young cat’s body. Freja enjoys spending her days napping in cozy spots, gently exploring her surroundings, and soaking up the occasional head scratch (her favorite!). Though she may be shy at first, her gentle nature shines through once she feels safe and loved.Freja would thrive in a peaceful home where she can fully relax and be herself. Please note, we will be unable to respond to inquiries via Adopt-a-pet and Petfinder. All applications must be submitted on our website.  Please keep an eye on your spam folder. Emailed responses often end up in spam folders!  Hi there! My name is Panini, and I'm a super-duper cute 10-week-old kitten ready to find my forever home! I'm told I'm quite the little genius—I love exploring and figuring things out. My curiosity leads me on all sorts of adventures, and I'm not afraid of anything! You'll often find me pouncing on toys (or my brother, Hoagie!), because playing is my absolute favorite. I'm a pretty confident girl, and I've been told I'm really good with people and even big, friendly dogs! Yep, I live with two pups right now, and we get along famously. Speaking of friends, I have a brother named Hoagie who's my best buddy. We're a dynamic duo and we love to play together, so we'd really, really like to be adopted as a pair. We promise double the purrs and double the fun! Are you ready for two adorable kittens to brighten your life? Panini is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. However, she is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program!  Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed. Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.  Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.  Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $135.  Our Adoption Process: Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo an in person or virtual home visit from an RHS representative. Complete Application.  https://www.richardsonhumanesociety.org/adopt/ Phone Interview/Vet Check. Compatible applicants will be forwarded to a counselor who will contact the applicant for a phone interview. We also get a reference from your vet, if applicable. Home Visit. If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will set up a visit where you can meet the pet you are interested in. We will try to include the foster parent so you can learn more about how the pet is in a home environment. Due to COVID, we may ask you to send a video of your yard and the pet's expected living space. Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at your home or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs, $300 for puppies (under 1 year) and $135 for cats. Discounts are available for senior-aged pets. ##2407706##

Story
DOB 4/15/23 - I'm a really stunning Lilac Point Siamese boy but more like a friendly lion at 14 lbs.. I'm a sweet boy that my foster mom loves to kiss! I'll do best in a home without kids since I can get a little over-stimulated and will need someone with "cat experience". I'll be happiest as your one and only furbaby...that just means more time for us to hang out! I'm currently eating urinary health cat food, canned and dry but since I also have some food allergies I may get to try some kind of duck or rabbit food with daily methigel. I just found found out I'm very allergic to milk and beef and somewhat allergic to several other proteins.  Winston will need to be on some sort or urinary food or supplements so he won't end up with a urinary blockage. He was adopted briefly but he returned because he would prefer a home on his own. He was also eating meow mix and we noticed he was using the litter box frequently. We avoided another trip to the vet since we switched his food back immediately. For inquiries on adopting, please email DallasCatLadyInfo@gmail.com. You must be over 25 to adopt with proof of ID. Adoption Fee is $120 and helps cover care and vetting done. We only adopt in the Dallas Metroplex, if you're not in this area, please check your local shelters and pet stores for the local rescues they work with. ##2045900##
