Lollipop is a little sweetheart and she has tons of personality! Her mom is a small B&W rat terrier mix and dad is a doodle. Mom was taken in as a stray by a lady with an unaltered doodle. Before she could find a rescue to help with mom, she became pregnant. Lollipop was the runt in the litter. She is friendly, loving and smart! She is also a major snuggler! She likes to wrap her head around your neck and nestle in! Lolli is great with other dogs and people of all ages. She has not been around a cat yet but we are confident she will be fine with proper intro. Being the runt, she always seems to end up on the bottom and she still plays hard and never gets mad! Lolli is healthy, UTD on puppy shots and worming. She will be spayed and microchipped before going to her forever home. Based on puppy weight calculators we think she will be between 25 and 35 lbs. Holly is a smart , loving and very energetic 16 month old. A change in my life/job circumstances does not allow me to give her the attention she deserves. She loves to go for long walks and fetch balls.. She goes to a dog daycare currently and really enjoys other dogs. She would do well in a home with older children or another dog. I say this because she is a jumper and might accidentally hurt a small child. She is a little skittish around new people and takes a while to warm up to them. This is my second standard poodle, my first lived to be almost 16 years old. Poodles are extremely bright, ptotective and loyal. They need regular grooming , about every 6 weeks as they have hair versus fur. She came to us after the caring individual who found her, tried everything they could to help her get healthy. Her illness and symptoms were just puzzling and frustrating for a diagnosis. After thorough testing, we finally uncovered the truth about Princess Charlie. She has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI). This means her body can’t properly digest food without daily enzyme supplements. The good news is that it is treatable with a consistent drug being administered. Dogs with EPI can live happy, full, completely normal lives. The reality, though, is that her medication will be lifelong and averages about $200 per month. We are people and children social. Right now in rescue we are living with 11 other dogs. We have not been cat tested yet. We came into rescue because our family was growing. Our family already had a 5 & 2 year old children. Close to Thanksgiving their family will welcome another child. So, here we are. My ideal family is active, loving and adores snuggling. I am a happy camper. I do love hiking, walking, camping, going to the beach, walking with you while you pick apples or blueberries. I am heartworm positive but have already started treatment.
