Story
Dominique is an extremely handsome, very social, black with a touch of white on his chest, male standard poodle born on 3/4/23. He currently weighs about 60 pounds and is a burning, burning hunk of love for sure, so it goes without saying that Dominique loves attention and is ready to bond with his special human. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, received a Proheart 6 shot and is also being kept on flea and tick prevention to maintain his good health. His adoption donation is $700 plus $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Dominique the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Meet Sugar!Looking for a loyal companion with a little life experience and a lot of love to give? Say hello to Sugar! This charming 8-year-old, 54 lb. Poodle (likely!) may be a senior in age, but she’s still got a whole lot of pep in her step and a sparkle in her eye.In her local foster home, Sugar is doing wonderfully with house-training and crate training. She’s still getting the hang of leash walking and can be a little nervous around cars, bikes, and loud noises, so she’ll need a calmer home in a quiet neighborhood where she can feel safe and confident. No apartments, please!Sugar would do well in a home with kids 10+ and is cat-friendly too! However, at this time, she’d prefer to be your one and only dog, soaking up all the attention and love you have to give. She also requires regular grooming, so her new family should be ready to include that in her ongoing care.If you’re looking for a sweet, semi-active sidekick who’s past the puppy phase but still up for daily walks and cozy cuddles, Sugar might be your perfect match. Her foster says, `Sugar is one of the best fosters I’ve had! She’s super chill and will gladly lay on the couch all day. She still has moments where she’s playful though! She’ll bring you a toy to throw a few times and then lay back down. She’s fully house trained and doesn’t mind the crate. Whoever gets her will absolutely love her!`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Bentley is a very loyal and loving boy. He's a bit of a Velcro dog, always close by. In spite of his large size, he is puppy like with his affectionate charm. It would probably be best if Bentley were in a home with older children. Even though he is incredibly sweet, he may accidentally knocked down small children.  For the most part he's pretty mellow, but when the spirit hits him, running around the yard is such a joy! You can see the happiness in each trot. His energy is enthusiastic and full of of positivity. The other foster dogs are drawn to Bentley. He is the life of the party.   He is heartworm negative and fully vetted. All of his vaccines are up-to-date and he has been microchipped. His adoption fee is $350 and that covers the cost of transport from Arkansas to New England.  Bentley was once in a loving home, but his dog mom was a victim of domestic violence and hospitalized indefinitely due to her injuries. The landlord contacted us regarding the welfare of Bentley.  He was taken into our rescue with several other doodles. A few of them have been placed in loving homes and are doing quite great. Do you think you have what it takes to give Bentley a loving home as well? ##2334311##

Story
I’m Michael, a 2-year-old, 48-pound Standard Poodle mix. I lived in a home down South but was given up when my owner could no longer care for me. I’m housetrained and crate trained, and I get along well with other dogs. My Southern foster says, “He will make a great companion!” I’m affectionate, playful, and smart – true to my breed, I love to learn and enjoy mental stimulation and enrichment. I have met children and done well with them. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you.
