PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Ginger! Ginger is approximately 2 years old, about 44 pounds at the moment and she may have some doodle in her mix! She is being rehomed due to her family having too many other dogs. She is making great progress with house training, crate training, and leash walking. She could join households with kids 10+ and other playful dogs. No cats or apartments, please! Her foster says, `Ginger is a very happy, obedient girl. She`s very active outside running around but when inside, she enjoys laying around chewing on a Benebone or playing with her ball. She does wonderful in her crate and is almost totally house-trained, just a few accidents. She`ll make a great addition to some lucky family.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on February 27th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.- Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.- Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Holly is a smart , loving and very energetic 16 month old. A change in my life/job circumstances does not allow me to give her the attention she deserves. She loves to go for long walks and fetch balls.. She goes to a dog daycare currently and really enjoys other dogs. She would do well in a home with older children or another dog. I say this because she is a jumper and might accidentally hurt a small child. She is a little skittish around new people and takes a while to warm up to them. This is my second standard poodle, my first lived to be almost 16 years old. Poodles are extremely bright, ptotective and loyal. They need regular grooming , about every 6 weeks as they have hair versus fur. I have had several people reach out that do not have enclosed yards (invisible is fine) which would make it hard to container her, she has that now. .Please only applications from Rhode Island and any areas within an hour of Cumberland

Story
Introducing Magpie, who has a beautiful spirit and is going to make a fantastic dog for someone.Magpie got off to a rough start in life, as she was abandoned as an adolescent in TN and spent a few months roaming her neighborhood as a stray before being found and homed by her current foster mom. This beauty turned out to be such a wonderful girl. She is friendly, affectionate, good with other dogs and cats, crate-trained, and house-trained!Magpie does pull a little on the leash, but she’s not reactive to other dogs or people. She’s literally just young and exuberant! She also rides nicely in the passenger seat of the car and hops in on her own.Magpie needs a bit of work on basic manners (like not jumping or counter-surfing), but beneath her youthful exuberance, she has a rock solid overall temperament. She craves positive attention and is very eager to please, which makes her readily trainable. She is a natural athlete and would make a great outdoors companion and she also loves snuggles and will flop over for belly rubs from anyone willing to dispense them! The best of both dog worlds! She is a true delight and is ready for her forever home!Name: MagpieBreed: Poodle/Schnauzer MixSex: FemaleAge: 1 year  (estimated)Weight: 41 Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 7, She has not yet been child-tested, but she is amazingly friendly and submissive with everyone she has met.Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)                       $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee for Massachusetts residents.Location of dog currently:    Tennessee  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Ragu!If you're looking for a puppy that will tolerate ALL of your shenanigans, look no further. Ragu will tolerate ALL of your shenanigans and will probably drag you into a few more. Ragu is a five month old poodle mix. Mixed with what? No idea. Snuffleupagus maybe. Basically we can't guarantee that he's hypoallergenic. He's about 27lbs now so will probably be around 45lbs+ when he's full grown. Sparkly bat ears not included...white beard IS included. Ragu is all things puppy. He is bouncy, hyper, zoomy, mouthy, and has zero leash manners. He's not super pully on a leash but he doesn't know what direction he wants to go in so he tries to go in all of them at the same time. He'll hop up on your legs because, no, you are NOT entitled to your personal space, actually. He much prefers to be around people than, like, anything else. Toys, treats, other dogs, nope. People all the way. He's definitely a ham for attention and will prioritize getting attention above all else.He sort of knows a couple of cues but, again, he's a puppy. Please don't ask if he's house trained or crate trained. Please. Just. Do not.Ragu loves other dogs but lacks boundaries and is still learning his dog manners. He has no idea what a cat is but is healthily wary of them. Kids 8+ would be best as long as they're okay with being jumped all over, slapped by flailing paws, and smothered in puppy kisses.
