Meet Kincaid!Kincaid is a very friendly 2 year-old male poodle mix. He is neutered, current with all his vaccines and crate trained. He does take time to warm up to new people, but once he does his true personality shines through. He is great with kids of all ages. Kincaid needs another dog in the home, but he can be dog selective so slow appropriate introductions are a must. Unsure if Kincaid is house trained as his foster keeps a diaper on him when inside, and takes it off when he goes outside. Kincaid is looking for a warm and loving home, with someone or a family that is going to give hime lots of love. Meet Quinn! He is a 3yr old male Poodle/Sheepdog mix that weighs 37lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/21. Due to his physical condition, he will be Rescue only. Quinn is a very sweet and gentle boy that has not had the best life. He has many levels of matting all over his body and will most likely need to be taken to the vet for a medical groom. Despite what he has been through he gave me a smile, a sparkle in his beautiful brown eyes, and a wag of his tail. All of the noise in the shelter does make him nervous, yet once we were outside his personality started to come out. He walks well on a leash, takes treats gently and went to the bathroom as soon as we were outside. He enjoyed running about in the play yard and would follow me around for pets. I would brush his hair out of his eyes, and he just looked up with such appreciation. From the moment I met him, he captured my heart and its very clear he has a heart of gold and would make a fantastic family companion. He just needs help out of the shelter by one of our wonderful rescues, so he can find his own loving home.
