Story
Oliver is a 6 year old schnauzer mix who had been with us since he was 6 weeks old. We love him and weren't sure if we were going to have children so there was never an issue. We knew he wasn’t a fan of kids and we were blessed with our daughter almost 2 years ago. He’s done pretty well with her, but she’s becoming more and more active and it’s just become too much to handle with the 2 of them. We believe he would do best with a single female, as he tends to gravitate towards women. He’s a loving boy, great walker, loves baths and treats, cheese lover, doesn’t shed, house trained. We want him to go to a great home

Story
UPDATE: Jagger resides in Austin, TX now but is still available for adoption. Meet Mellow Mick Jagger! This sweet guy once found himself at the shelter on the euthanasia list only for being scared of the leash, but those days are behind him thanks to positive reinforcement and CHEESE! :) He's fine on a leash now and enjoys a stroll in a calm neighborhood. He's crate trained, house-trained and good with people and dogs (hasn't been cat or kid tested yet). Jagger gets excited to see dogs through the fences, but then just sniffs and likes to chill in the yard with them and go on walks. He can be shy around strangers, but will walk up to a new human briefly and is fine with their soft pets, if he gets a premium STINKY cheese in return! ;) He’s so gentle! Mick honestly just wants to chill ALL day at home and wait for you to get home from your errands or hikes, rather than join you. Total home body kinda guy! Jagger is so ready for a forever home! Is that you? If you are in Austin or close to Austin, fill out an adoption application on our site: www.pawsoflarescue.org/adoptabledogs-mickjagger

Story
Meet Santos! He is a 4 year old schnauzer/husky mix. He is a sweet, goofy boy who loves being with his human. Santos enjoys playing outside and like to play fetch; although he is still learning to give up the ball after retrieving it. He knows his sit command and is very treat motivated, but he still needs some training. Santos is about 50 pounds and does not realize his size and sometimes jumps on you or can be mouthy. He does however, respond well to correction, but needs someone who can use patience and positive reinforcement to give him guidance and boundaries he needs. He is a smart boy with lots of potential. Santos gets along with other dogs that are more on the submissive side and are smaller than him and he is totally fine with cats. He needs a more experienced dog owner that will give him the boundaries and rules he needs. He will also do best in an adult only home. Santos is full grown at 50 pounds. Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time. Story
DINA: Cairn Terrier Mix | Spayed Female | 1 Year Old | 16 lbs Dina is a calm, gentle, and well-mannered little girl with a sweet and sensitive nature. She is obedient, quiet, and not prone to barking or destructive behavior. Dina gets along well with other dogs and enjoys simple pleasures like car rides and peaceful walks in the park. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and loved, her affectionate side truly shines. With a little patience and kindness, Dina forms strong bonds and becomes a loyal, loving companion. Dina was rescued alongside several other female dogs from a group living on the streets, where many were at risk due to being in heat. At first, adjusting to home life was challenging, as she was used to surviving outdoors. But over time, she has learned to feel safe, and now she is thriving and ready for a forever home. If you can offer DINA the loving home she deserves, please contact Reyna: miracledogrescue@gmail.com 323-383-8883
