Story

Hercules is about 9 years old. He is housetrained, and will wait to be walked to use the restroom. He’s a friendly, chill dog who enjoys sunbathing and playing with toys. He attempts to play fetch, and is protective of his toys but will enjoy playing tug with them. He does well with other dogs, more small dogs than larger dogs, but he rough houses. Looking for a new home for him because I don’t have the capacity to be with him at all times. He has separation anxiety when he’s alone and will often bark or find creative ways to get out and look for you which is why I can no longer keep him. Looking for a home that has other dogs, or someone who can be with him. If you’re at home with him, he’ll mostly just lounge. Can have super high energy, but usually enjoys being in his bed and sleeping. He likes to follow you when you get up, that’s just his way of making sure you’re not leaving him. He’s a sweet dog, just needs a home that is more fitting to his needs.

UPDATE: Jagger resides in Austin, TX now but is still available for adoption. Meet Mellow Mick Jagger! This sweet guy once found himself at the shelter on the euthanasia list only for being scared of the leash, but those days are behind him thanks to positive reinforcement and CHEESE! :) He's fine on a leash now and enjoys a stroll in a calm neighborhood. He's crate trained, house-trained and good with people and dogs (hasn't been cat or kid tested yet). Jagger gets excited to see dogs through the fences, but then just sniffs and likes to chill in the yard with them and go on walks. He can be shy around strangers, but will walk up to a new human briefly and is fine with their soft pets, if he gets a premium STINKY cheese in return! ;) He’s so gentle! Mick honestly just wants to chill ALL day at home and wait for you to get home from your errands or hikes, rather than join you. Total home body kinda guy! Jagger is so ready for a forever home! Chani was rescued from the L.A. shelter, where she was listed as a Cairn Terrier mix. She is about 4 years old and weighs a healthy 12lbs. They said she was super sweet and friendly, and they were not wrong. Chandi can be a little shy at first, but will let you approach her if she knows she will get pets or treats. After that she can be your best friend. Needless to say, she is great with people and just wants to be near her person and snuggle up next to them. She loves pillows too and when she has her favorite, she does not share. She is great with other dogs. They all seem to love her sweet nature. Chandi blended in immediately with her foster dogs and found a playmate with one of them. They chase each other until they can’t no more. She can be talkative, like she’s trying to tell you something. You just have to figure out what. She is good on walks, uses a doggie door, is potty trained and loves cuddles. We have her updated on her vaccines, is spayed and micro chipped. We think she is deserving of all the love, affection & commitment that a new pet parent or family could offer her.
