Meet Monroe! Aka Monty! An old man name for a cat with a very old soul. Monroe is my heart. We picked him up from Monroe, Georgia, as a little kitten on February 6, 2021. He's around 5 years old, now, and he's got a lot of life to live. Monroe is a spoiled indoor cat. He's had many opportunities to slip through our cracked front door over the years, but prefers simple luxuries like A/C and consistent meals. It's amusing to watch him contemplate the great outdoors and almost shake his head no - too self-aware, and too much of a scaredy cat to entertain the thought for long. Monroe is an anxious cat. He's slow to trust, and takes some coaxing out. But once he likes you, he's a ride or die. He is so full of love. I hope it comes across in the pictures. His eyes are so tender. I pray there's a lucky person out there who will get the opportunity to see that for themselves.If you have any questions, please let me know.

This sweet little cat appeared in our yard. We assumed a feral as he would run away if you took one step toward him. We were able to trap with a wildlife cage trap. I participate with the feral cat program in our county. I took him there to get a health exam , shots and neutering. There was a glitch in the plan for us to pick him up or to be returned by animal control. They thought we were picking up. We thought they were returning him. Because of that , he was there over a month. Now he is totally tame, follows us everywhere , sits beside us ,wants to be petted. Our cat and he spend the day together outside enjoying each other's company. But we can't keep him. He looks very tabby but not totally. He has subtle orange areas and pastel mint colored eyes.

Simba used to belong to my friend, he had to get rid of him and I offered to take him in, he's a chill guy. I can't keep him any longer because i don't live alone and my mom is very allergic to cats.

Clause is a sweet boy who is in need of a family who can give him all the loves and cuddles he deserves. He especially loves women. I think he would make an exceptional boy for a single lady. He can tolerate children but prefers adults. He gets his name from his big claws and because my son named him when we got him at Christmas. We live a busy lifestyle with 3 children and need someone who can give him the love and attention he needs. He’s a very timid and sweet boy. We just can’t give him the love he deserves.

One of his signature moves is flopping dramatically onto his back for pets… then realizing getting back up is a whole side quest. With his playful spirit, silly charm, and snuggly nature, Ditto is ready to use Transform and become your perfect little best friend. He would like to be adopted into a home with a kitty friend to play with! ----- The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around May 8th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet. Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care. We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport. Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Hello! This is Honey, she is around 5 months old and needs a loving home. I found her outside in my apartment complex about 3 months ago as a small kitten and have been trying to find a home for her since. She is very sweet and playful- she gets along with our cats just fine. She needs to be spayed and get her vaccines. I would like her to go to a home where she is strictly an inside cat.

Delilah was trapped in a feral colony and she was a very feral kitten when she came to us. Unfortunately, she has retained a lot of her feral qualities. She enjoys sitting on the cat trees and looking outside but she doesn't like to be touched. She is not aggressive and will warn you if you get too close. She does get along with the other cats. As we make a committment to all the kitties we take in, she will always have a home with us but she would appreciate having a home of her own. Maybe she just hasn't met her hooman yet.

DOB 5/31/20 estimate Tippy and his sister Panda were adopted on 8/30/20 and returned to us on 8/13/23 through no fault of their own. He was very scared when he was returned but he adapted quickly to the new situation and is a sweet, loving cat. He is a little shy but warms up quickly and loves to be pet. He loves to nap and eat canned cat food! Would you like to give him a safe and loving home? He would be okay as an only cat or with another friendly cat.

DOB 5/31/20 estimate Precious was the smallest of her siblings which include Pantera, Panda and brother Tippy. She came out of a feral colony and was very fragile when we first got her. However, she is now strong and healthy and you would never know that she was the smallest of the litter! Her soft beautiful black fur has an unusual gray hair pattern especially on her tail! She is very cute and very playful. She is still shy around strangers but once she gets to know you, she is a sweet and loving cat. She loves to play, be pet and sleep on the bed with her foster mom, the perfect kitty!
