Story
This is Cinnamon. My brother found her as a stray so we decided to adopt her and keep her as an outdoor cat. She happened to be pregnant when we did and she had six kittens. We kept one of the kittens and rehomed the rest with a plan to keep Cinnamon and a kitten. Unfortunately Cinnamon won’t stay here (probably ceding it to her kitten) and keeps bothering all the neighbors. She likes people too much and keeps staying on others’ porches. She needs a permanent place to stay. She is very good with people and kids, spayed, up to daye on shots and on flea/tick meds.

Story
Fancy might be the sweetest girl on the planet. She adores people and will happily greet you at the door, asking for pets and scritches. Her adorable little meow-chirps will melt your heart. Up until just a few weeks ago, Fancy was living outside in the brutal cold and snow. Once temporarily inside her caretaker's home, it became clear that Fancy had not always been an outdoor kitty. At one point in her life, Fancy was someone's baby. Since no one has claimed her as their own, we're going to find Fancy her new forever home now. Fancy gets along famously with the other cats and the large dog in her temporary living quarters. She's a cuddle bug with humans and she'll do her darndest to snuggle with the dog. She faithfully uses her litterbox and has no desire to go back outside. Fancy is FIV+, but don't let that deter you from adopting her. She can have a long and happy life and safely live with other cats. (Check out the attached brochure for more information on FIV.) Adopt Fancy. It's her turn to be part of a family who loves her to the moon and back. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info. Fancy is in the Kansas City metro, but transport is available to the right home. ** Click here https://fb.watch/y4XGObEF-r/ to see a sweet video made by Fancy's caregiver.

Story
Doug and Kevin are two lovable, bonded brothers who are looking for a new home together. As we downsize, we want to find them a family that can give them all the love and attention they deserve. Doug is the curious and playful one - always ready to explore, chase a toy, or find the perfect sunny spot for a nap. Kevin is the cuddler of the two, happiest when snuggled up next to you or his brother. They both love chin scratches and treats. They have been raised in a loving home and are great with people. Since they are so attached to each other, we are keeping them together in their next chapter. If you’re looking for a duo that will follow your home with warmth, personality, and endless purrs, Doug and Kevin would love to meet you! If you’re interested in adopting Doug and Kevin, please reach out. We would love to find them the perfect forever home!

Story
I'm trying to be a responsible pet parent. I took in an abandoned cat, during the blizzard. She is very sweet and friendly but is also scared. She is among other cats and is not at the point of being comfortable venturing into the kitchen to eat with them. She would do well with being an only child. She loves to be held and will lie next to me. But as soon as she hears or sees one of the other cats, she scatters. She's been hiding and sometimes won't eat, because she's afraid. I have to feed her in her hiding spot and keep litter near her. I hold her every day, to get her used to me and the other cats. She quickly got used to me, when she sees me. Two of the other cats have been trying to befriend her. But I would be selfish to keep her and heartless to put her back outside. Lately, she's been crying every night. And I know some little girl would adore her. My granddaughter wants her, but she recently got a dog.

Story
I adopted Carmen a couple of years ago from PetSmart when she was about a year old. I got her when I was really young, and it pains me to list her here at all. I need her to find a great, loving, and comfortable home because she deserves it. Carmen is a wonderful cat—more like an emotional support animal than anything. She’s such a sweetheart. She’s a little shy at first and naturally timid, but once she gets comfortable, she will snuggle with you. When she’s in a cuddly mood, she tends to go limp when you pick her up—it’s the cutest thing. She isn’t very vocal but has a playful personality. She’s fully potty trained. She loves chasing lasers and playing with toys. It truly breaks my heart to give her up because she has grown on me, and she’s become so comfortable with me. However, I want her to live with a family that can provide the love, attention, and quality time she deserves. She needs that kind of care. She is a one of a kind cat. Anyone would be lucky to have her. Truly.

Story
Marley has been a great pet. She is a beautiful and loving cat. She got along very well with two of our former dogs, but now we have a one-year-old Golden Retriever that is making her life miserable. She hides, and is pretty grumpy. Additionally, my husband and son are allergic, and have been tolerant for 6 years but are growing more and more uncomfortable with their allergies. And, we have starting traveling quite a bit more and Marley is even more sad. Because of the puppy and our travel schedule, she has started peeing on the basement carpet. She also has an odd and sporadic behavior of rubbing up against your leg, wanting to be pet, then without warning deciding to give one quick bite - not strong enough to break the skin, but startling and annoying. We love Marley very much, and she does love to sit in your lap and be pet (even purrs and drools a little), and my hope is that if she could find a home where she would get more attention, she would be much happier and kinder.
