Story
We are unsure of what dynamic changed between our animals, but our sweet Mo will no longer tolerate our dog or his littermate or our other female cat we had long before. He is a great, but is now picking fights, causing a stressful environment and so our cats are not going in their litter boxes all the time anymore. Mo was litter trained and so we now believe this is an anxiety or stress issue, and with a calmer environment without other animals, he will return to using the litter box. He has been tested for urinary tract infection. We have tried different litters and attractants, but it is now clear to us that it is a social issue that we cannot solve in our household with multiple animals. Does like to go outside sometimes but it mostly an indoor cat. He is a great mouser. She is not overly friendly with kids, but does not mind them. An ideal situation for him is a calm, loving home without other animals and owner that is willing to be patient in his transition.

Story
Hi! I am currently looking to rehome a cat I attempted to integrate into my home. Her name is Layla, and she is a very sweet and chill older cat (7) located in Shawnee, KS. She is talkative and adorably chirpy. I received her from a friend but my cat is very stubborn and not getting along with her. She would be good alone or with another calm cat. She requires a special prescription food that is pricey. Overall, she is a wonderful cat, she just doesn't fit in our home.

Story
Oliver was born in my home on Memorial Day 2020. He is sweet, but typically doesn't like smaller kids. He loves his big brother Apollo (lab/terrier mix) but takes a while to warm up to newer dogs. I have never seen him interact with another cat, so I am not sure how well he gets along with other felines. A perfect home for Oliver would be a couple with no other animals, but he could fit in with a family that had older children just fine as well.

Story
Beans is a part of a duo with Berrywinkle. They are pair bonded from kittenhood. Previous owner abandoned the pair on my husband and I recently. We're housing insecure at the moment, so we'd like to find a steady home for them. The poor girls deserve stable living. I wish I could give it to them, I just can't. Beans is a loving house cat that will become very affectionate once trust is earned. She loves head scratches, and will cuddle as long as you restrain her as little as needed. Get restraint tasks done and put her down asap, she'll be good. She is fixed. Berry is also affectionate, but seems to get overstimulated by touch extremely quickly. Head area is okay once you've earned her trust. I just held my hand down and let her pet herself on my hand. Very territorial, only successfully introduced her to a 2 month old kitten that she took to very quickly. She's aggressive to all other animals so far, but wasn't properly introduced. Not fixed. Contact for more info.

Story
Meet Keke 💕 Keke is a one-year-old sweetheart who’s equal parts lovebug and chatterbox. This adorable girl has a lot to say and will happily keep you entertained with her talkative nature. She adores being petted and especially loves curling up in your lap for snuggles. Playtime is Keke’s other love—she’s a lively, curious cat who will keep you smiling with her antics. Born to a stray mama, Keke didn’t get the easiest start in life, but now she has the chance to write a brighter story. She’s looking for a safe, loving indoor home where she’ll be cherished and never have to face the hardships her mama did. If you’re searching for a playful, affectionate companion with a big personality, Keke may just be your perfect match. 📍 Kansas City metro (transport available) 📞 Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 #AdoptDontShop #RescueCat #TalkativeCat #LapCat #PlayfulKitty #AdoptKeke #CatsofInstagram #thepetconnection #thepetconnectionks #melodyhuff

Story
Electra was a stray here in town. A year prior Electra's mom had a litter of 8 kittens on a rental property. We took one of those kittens with the renter's permission of the home at the time, since these were their cats. Had no idea that they were going to move out of that rental house, take the mama cat and leave all the kittens. We made it our mission to catch the rest before the big snow storm that hit in January 2025. Our friends managed to catch one of the kittens, bringing us to take care of Electra. We had suspisions she might be pregnant. A few months later she had a little of 6 kittens, all healthy we raised them all and gave them to family and friends who wanted them. We tried immigrating Electra to our home of 3 cats. She did not mesh well with them, they would get into some serious scrap fights. She's the most loving and will cuddle with us all day. She once had a family that wanted her and she got along with their dog. She came back to us due to complications w/ home.
