We adopted Lucy in 2020, I think. Once she figures out that you feed her and give her treats, she will express her love for you and want to be pet and want to be near you, but she is not a lap cat USUALLY and can tend to be happy close to her safe room alone. She is low maintenance. Pretty. Quirky. It is hard to let her go.

Simon (grey, 6lbs, 6yo) & Loaf (orange, 13lbs, 3.5yo) Wanting to keep these good step-brothers together, got Simon when I moved to KC 4 years ago from Wayside, and Loaf was found as a kitten at a gas station in Colorado about 5 months after adopting Simon, so Simon essentially raised Loaf. I will be moving to NYC and unfortunately cannot take my boys with me. They are cuddly, full of personality, low maintenance, and would thrive in an environment where they can play and have more space with people who can be home with them more often than I am. I will provide cat bowls, litter box/mat, 2 beds, some toys, double cat carrier, and of course every picture I’ve ever taken of them. Would love to have you meet them and see if you’re a good fit, thank you :)

Willy, aka One Eyed Willy. He is a 2-year-old rescue that was abandoned and suffered an eye injury during that time. Occasionally, he needs a warm paper towel or rag to wipe it clean. He is fixed and microchipped and LOVES kids and adults. He gets along with our dog, as they both pretend the other doesnt exist. He fights with my cat Zeppelin way too much. The other 3 cats he get along fine with. Other than that, he is a super clumsy, clingy, lovey lap cat that enjoys all the cat toys. Please give him a home; hes been through a lot!

I adopted Skully in the summer of 2024 from a friend whose neighborhood cat had a litter. Skully is very playful but also loves to cuddle up in bed at night. He loves my much older cat (in some of the pictures) and they would sunbathe together in the mornings. Skully loves scratching posts and stringy toys.

Toby is a very healthy 16 yr old cat. When he gets stressed, he may act out. He has never done this with me, but I live alone without children. He is very loving and greets you at the door. He is talkative and inquisitive. He was my son's cat but didn't get along with his girlfriend's cats. I have had him around my chihuahua puppy and he has shown that he does not want to play. He has two litter boxes and uses them 100% of the time. He absolutely loves his window bed. He sure doesn't act or look 16. Acts like a much younger cat. I would really like to find him a nice home as I am moving to a retirement home out of state.

Story

Alex was adopted from a shelter in early 2022 when he was 3 months old. Since then he has lived a happy life indoors with his owner and three other kitties. He has always been a bit independent and mostly keeps out of sight, although he does come around for pets. Alex's owner has had to move to assisted living and is not able to keep him. He has been living in a home without humans since December of 2025 and desperately needs a place to go. Alex can be feisty and will do best in a home without children. He is not an aggressive kitty at all, he just wants things on his own terms! He has been great with other cats, but has not met any dogs. Alex is a very healthy kitty, but he needs to be on Depo-Medrol for his asthma. He is used to getting an injection every 5 months or so, but his medication would actually be better in pill form. We can provide his medical records and the name of the mobile vet he is used to seeing.

Remi is a 3-year-old sweetheart with the most loving personality. If you’re looking for a true companion, he’s your guy. He absolutely loves to snuggle and sleeps on your pillow at night. He’s the kind of cat who wants to be close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. Remi also has a playful streak! He gets the cutest zoomies and enjoys playtime just as much as he enjoys a good nap. Remi has been around both children and other cats and does very well with both, making him a great addition to a variety of homes. This decision has been incredibly difficult for our family, but due to severe and progressing allergies in the household, we are looking to find Remi a new home where he can be loved just as much as he is now. He deserves a family who will cherish his affectionate nature, snuggle with him often, and enjoy his playful spirit. Remi is truly a special cat and an amazing companion. We’re hoping to find him a loving home.
