Story
We adopted Lucy in 2020, I think. Once she figures out that you feed her and give her treats, she will express her love for you and want to be pet and want to be near you, but she is not a lap cat USUALLY and can tend to be happy close to her safe room alone. She is low maintenance. Pretty. Quirky. It is hard to let her go.

Story
So a lot unknown because she kind of got her own little personality sometimes she likes dogs sometimes she doesn't most times she doesn't so I'd say it's safe to air on the safe side and say no but she does get along with my dog which is a German Shepherd and she does get along with my other cat but some cats she don't get along with so it's kind of like on her level whether she feels like it or not I would say that she'd be okay with older kids because she doesn't really like being picked up except for a certain way because it hurts your belly toddlers should definitely probably would not like and get annoyed real quick

Story
Willy, aka One Eyed Willy. He is a 2-year-old rescue that was abandoned and suffered an eye injury during that time. Occasionally, he needs a warm paper towel or rag to wipe it clean. He is fixed and microchipped and LOVES kids and adults. He gets along with our dog, as they both pretend the other doesnt exist. He fights with my cat Zeppelin way too much. The other 3 cats he get along fine with. Other than that, he is a super clumsy, clingy, lovey lap cat that enjoys all the cat toys. Please give him a home; hes been through a lot!

Story
Monkey is a silly, sassy boy who needs lots of love, care, and attention. He was found as a ham-loving stray, and was diagnosed with FIV, but is perfectly healthy. We think he's about 4 or 5, but he hasn't shown any sign of issue. Monkey needs a good home with people who can help keep him healthy and off the streets.

Story
This is Carly, a sweet, beautiful ginger tortie tabby, who was adopted with her "sister," Kellyanne, about ten years ago by a wonderful couple who provided them with a warm and loving home. The girls were devastated when their human mom and dad both passed away in 2025. Carly is an affectionate, darling kitty who appreciates being petted and loved. She had congestive heart failure when she was returned to her caretaker after the death of her human parents last year. It's managed with medicine she takes several times a day. She lives with several other cats and absolutely holds her own, even protecting Kellyanne when the kitties try to bully her. (Kellyanne is physically healthy, and finding her a new home is very important because she is miserable in her current living arrangement due to the other cats picking on her.) While it would be wonderful to find a home willing to adopt both Carly and Kellyanne, we understand that is not likely to happen. Since the girls are NOT bonded, we are willing to adopt them separately to fabulous homes of their own. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you'd like more info on Carly and/or Kellyanne or are interested in meeting one or both of them. They are in the Kansas City metro, but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
Ember was found outside my apartment complex when I lived in Nashville. He was immediately loving and comfortable with people, clearly not wanting to be outside anymore. Medical issues were immediately apparent, and after many tests it has been confirmed that Ember has liver shunts. Liver shunts means part of the blood bypasses the liver entirely. Because Ember has been this way since birth, it has been advised to not pursue surgery. He is on 4 different medications, some administered multiple times per day, and will continue with this regiment for the rest of his life. He is genuinely the smartest, kindest and most snuggly cat I know, it is heartbreaking to have to separate from him. Not a single behavioral issue the entire time I have cared for him, only love and snuggles. Unfortunately, I do not have the bandwidth to sustainably keep up this medication routine, specifically when traveling would require someone staying at my place to administer medication 4 times per day.

Story
Kevin is a 6 year old brown tabby cat who's looking for a new home with caring pet owner(s). Kevin can be shy at first but once he's comfortable with his surroundings, he becomes a sweet and loving cat! We raised him from when he was a kitten to now but we're moving soon and unfortunately unable to take him with us. We will provide a PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder, water fountain, a large aluminum cat litter, and pet carrier. All shots history can be provided by the Cat Clinic of Johnson County where we take him for his vet appointments.

Story
Pixie, the classic brown tabby with a hint of Bengal sass, is not your typical feline. This feisty girl left her mark on her previous foster with her biting antics, but don't let that deter you. She's a force to be reckoned with and demands a certain level of respect. Pixie has a rebellious streak and a disdain for white cats, but don't worry, she's got a soft spot for anyone who can keep up with her need for constant play and adventure. With a penchant for hunting and guarding, Pixie is on the lookout for a home that will appreciate her unique skills. If you're willing to give her the space and freedom she craves, Pixie will reward you with her fierce loyalty and endless entertainment. A true diva in every sense, Pixie is ready to take on the world, one mouse at a time. We do not condone indoor/outdoor cats, but Pixie is a purrfect candidate for indoor/outdoor life. Being allowed outdoor time has completely changed her attitude. She does not stray far and loves the run around time. She no longer bites the humans and is way easier to handle!!!! She loves to play the game of let me in and let me out. She does like to be brushed and petted but you must be quick about it!! Her foster mom thinks she is one of the most hilarious creatures she has ever met!!If you're interested in this cat or kitten, please fill out an application rather than send an inquiry. Applicants are processed first come first served and some kittens go fast. You are not obligated to adopt by submitting an application and due to volume, we are not always able to respond to inquiries in a timely manner. All Diva Pets Rescue cats have been fostered in homes by our volunteers. An application is required prior to meeting our cats in order to help ensure a good fit between adopter and adoptee. You can complete the adoption application at www.divapetsrescue.org. One of our volunteers will get back to you within 48 hours. Please contact us for more information at DivaPetsCatRescue@gmail.com. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, flea-treated, microchipped, and have had all age appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fees are $125 for cats over 1 year old or $200 for 2 adults. Kittens under 1 year old are $150 or 2 kittens for $225. The fee for 1 adult and 1 kitten adopted together is $200.
