Story
Phoenix is a super soft, orange and white tabby cat. He's likes to spend a lot of time outside but when he's inside he's very affectionate. He's about 9 years old. He's chill with one of our dogs (Spaniel-mix) but not the other (Beagle-mix) who tries to chase him nonstop. So he will likely be wary of dogs but can be cool with them if they don't chase him. We are moving out-of-state to area with more wild animals so we are worried he might get eaten. He also hates the car so it would be a stressful trip for him.

Story
Mittsy is a precious, sweet, people-loving cat who is about 3 years old. She loves to play, lay in your lap, and sit next to you on the couch. Her sweet eyes can melt any heart and she adores hugs and attention from humans, but doesn't like to be carried. She does enjoy belly rubs and likes to chat! She strictly uses her litter box, follows rules really well, and can be trained entirely about where she is allowed to be. She also only scratches cat trees and cardboard scratchers - we will be providing all her favorite toys and scratchers to her new home. We adopted her a little over a year ago and tried our best to integrate her into our household with the cats we already have. Unfortunately, she does not do well with other cats and attempts to bully them out of spaces, which is why we are looking for a new home for her. We desperately wish we could keep her as we love her very much, but it's just not good for our other cats and it makes her anxious too.

Story
I’m looking for a wonderful new home for my cat, Rooster. He’s a 2-year-old orange tabby who is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of personality. He loves human interaction and thrives on attention. One of his favorite activities is looking out the window—he would probably love a catio where he can safely watch the world go by! About Rooster: • Age: 2 years old • Personality: Super loving, very interactive, and craves attention • Favorite Activities: Watching birds outside, playing, and being near his person • Needs: A home where he won’t be alone too much, possibly with other cats for company Habits to Know: - Very affectionate, rubs his head against you, rubs against your legs, will lean his face in to give you a kiss which is very cute • He wakes up early (around 5-6 AM) and will cry for attention—his name is Rooster for a reason! • Sometimes scratches the walls despite having scratching posts. • Litter box loyal he has never had an accident

Story
Hi I am Daisy Mae, I am about 3 years old and I would love to be your one and only kitty! I am a very sweet and docile kitty who always has energy for playtime. I love to be petted where I am. My favorite things are toys, toys, and more toys. My favorite toys are wands, things I can chase, and laser lights. My teeth can cause me pain sometimes so I prefer wet kitty food. I have special experience with bearded dragons and I especially like to sun bathe with them. Please put my special blankie at the end of your bed so we can sleep together at night. I look forward to meeting furever family!

Story
Tanner is about 7 years old and I’ve had him since he was a kitten. He is adventurous, loving, chunky, and a good guard kitty. He has been known to snuggle up and attempt to suckle my arm while kneading the blanket. He has been indoor/outdoor and offers to be outside when it’s nice. I am needing to rehome him as I’ve moved and my son has severe allergies.

Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Meet Bubba & Shiloh – The Sweetest Pair You’ll Ever Meet! Bubba is a gentle, 3-year-old orange tabby sweetheart who’s had a tough start to life, but you’d never know it by the way he loves people. He enjoys meeting new friends, getting pets, and curling up on your lap for snuggles. In his foster home, he shares a room—and a special bond—with Shiloh, an affectionate and playful 11-month-old grey tabby girl kitten who has chosen Bubba as her best friend and protector.   Shiloh can be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’s an absolute cuddle bug. She loves playing with wand toys, lasers, or even entertaining herself when Bubba’s feeling mellow. Together, they make the perfect pair—spending their days lounging side-by-side and bird-watching from the window.   They’ve both been around dogs and do well with calm ones, though they might hiss a bit if a dog gets too rowdy. Bubba is comfortable being held, while Shiloh prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. These two are deeply bonded and would love a forever home together. Like all cats, they’ll need a gentle, slow introduction to settle into a new environment—but with a little patience, you’ll gain two loving, loyal companions. Bubba was born approximately April 21, 2022, and Shiloh was born approximately June 1, 2024. Their combined adoption fee $222.50, which includes $20 each for microchips. They are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com.  Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.  April 27, 2025, 10:31 pm
