Story
Sally is a 5 year old cat who was dumped at the doorstep of the animal clinic i work at by her previous owner in mid-june. I took her in for 3 weeks, but unfortunately she does not get along with my other 2 cats and tries to fight them and I cannot keep her. She is the friendliest cat ever to people- she will follow you around the house, curl up with you as you get ready for the day, or sleep in bed with you. she just needs to go to a home without other pets. She would be perfect for a kid or couple looking for a solo cat. She is currently being boarded at my job until I find an adopter or rescue.

Story
Stripes is the loveliest male kitten. He is approximately 4–5 months old. He is incredibly friendly, people-oriented, and great with kids. He’ll happily follow you around, greet you with meows, and is super affectionate. He appears to have been raised outdoors as he is an excellent hunter. He’s very active and playful, climbing trees, chasing bugs, and even catching birds. He could easily adapt to being indoor if needed as long as he has an owner who can provide plenty of play, enrichment, and attention. He has had exposure to dogs and was confident and did well. No known exposure to other cats. He is not microchipped. I plan to have him neutered before adoption (or he can be neutered through a rescue/adoption program if applicable). I’m looking for a responsible home that will provide regular veterinary care and give him the love and attention he deserves. I’ll be thoughtful about where he’s placed to make sure it’s a great fit for both him and his new family.

Story
In 2016, we adopted TJ at the Emporia Animal Shelter in Kansas. He is 10 years young! TJ is loving, calm, affectionate and enjoys being around people (including kids) and animals. We are sad that we will be unable to bring him with us when we move early next year. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can show him the love and attention he deserves! 🧡The adoption will include container for food, food bowls, and liter box.

Story
Max and Milo are brothers under the age of 2, exhibiting pleasant and playful personalities. Having been together since birth, it would be beneficial for them to remain in each other's company. The brothers were rescued from private individuals by a widow who is now unable to provide care due to illness. They have been neutered and up-to-date vaccinations. Widow will visit after rehoming from time to time.

Story
Diesel is a very sweet, but cautious cat. He loves to play with string and is still pretty playful for being as old as he is. He is 11 years old and diabetic. He is wary of new people and does not like dogs. He is good with our other cat, but not sure how he would be with a new cat. Financially, I cannot afford to take him to the vet because he has to be put to sleep when being examined, etc. While he is getting his insulin shots, being fed a higher protein diet, and has plenty of water to drink, he will not urinate or defecate in the litter box, even if it is freshly cleaned.

Story
Pixie, the classic brown tabby with a hint of Bengal sass, is not your typical feline. This feisty girl left her mark on her previous foster with her biting antics, but don't let that deter you. She's a force to be reckoned with and demands a certain level of respect. Pixie has a rebellious streak and a disdain for white cats, but don't worry, she's got a soft spot for anyone who can keep up with her need for constant play and adventure. With a penchant for hunting and guarding, Pixie is on the lookout for a home that will appreciate her unique skills. If you're willing to give her the space and freedom she craves, Pixie will reward you with her fierce loyalty and endless entertainment. A true diva in every sense, Pixie is ready to take on the world, one mouse at a time. We do not condone indoor/outdoor cats, but Pixie is a purrfect candidate for indoor/outdoor life. Being allowed outdoor time has completely changed her attitude. She does not stray far and loves the run around time. She no longer bites the humans and is way easier to handle!!!! She loves to play the game of let me in and let me out. She does like to be brushed and petted but you must be quick about it!! Her foster mom thinks she is one of the most hilarious creatures she has ever met!!If you're interested in this cat or kitten, please fill out an application rather than send an inquiry. Applicants are processed first come first served and some kittens go fast. You are not obligated to adopt by submitting an application and due to volume, we are not always able to respond to inquiries in a timely manner. All Diva Pets Rescue cats have been fostered in homes by our volunteers. An application is required prior to meeting our cats in order to help ensure a good fit between adopter and adoptee. You can complete the adoption application at www.divapetsrescue.org. One of our volunteers will get back to you within 48 hours. Please contact us for more information at DivaPetsCatRescue@gmail.com. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, flea-treated, microchipped, and have had all age appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fees are $125 for cats over 1 year old or $200 for 2 adults. Kittens under 1 year old are $150 or 2 kittens for $225. The fee for 1 adult and 1 kitten adopted together is $200.
