Story
Bullseye, named for the marking on his side, is a very sweet, social boy who adores people. He loves it when you rub his cheeks! He'll even roll over on his back for chest and belly rubs, but he's just not quite sure he's ready for the actual rubbing part. He's a curious kitty and has started exploring his new foster home. The other cats are fine with him, too, unless they get too close, too fast, and then Bullseye gets a little bit hissy. But Bullseye has no problem with his foster mama picking him up and carrying him off to bed. Bullseye would love a home with humans who will snuggle him and let him sleep in bed with them. He's kind of a big, adorable, cuddly baby. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on this fabulous boy. He's in St. Joseph, MO, but transport is available to the right home.

Story
Lewis is a sweet boy and loves to cuddle on his terms. He can be convinced to play if there is enough excitement and will play with other cats if they are already playing. He can get a bit rough while playing with other cats but is good with correction. He needs a new home that will allow him to be an indoor outdoor cat during the warm months. He is territorial and is most happy having free access to the outdoors. I have had some issues with him marking his territory in the house (this is the behavioral issue). He primarily "talks" only when he wants to go outside. The ideal home has a pet door or an outdoor patio he can come in an out of during rain or snow a covered porch is good too.

Story
This is Cleo. She is only a year old and still very playful. She is extremely cuddly and friendly. She will become your best friend when you need her. She is kind of a quiet kitty so she doesn’t cause much trouble. She knows when you’re sad or upset and immediately comes to the rescue. She’s one of the best kitties I could ask for.

Story
Phoenix is a super soft, orange and white tabby cat. He's likes to spend a lot of time outside but when he's inside he's very affectionate. He's about 9 years old. He's chill with one of our dogs (Spaniel-mix) but not the other (Beagle-mix) who tries to chase him nonstop. So he will likely be wary of dogs but can be cool with them if they don't chase him. We are moving out-of-state to area with more wild animals so we are worried he might get eaten. He also hates the car so it would be a stressful trip for him.

Story
Mittsy is a precious, sweet, people-loving cat who is about 3 years old. She loves to play, lay in your lap, and sit next to you on the couch. Her sweet eyes can melt any heart and she adores hugs and attention from humans, but doesn't like to be carried. She does enjoy belly rubs and likes to chat! She strictly uses her litter box, follows rules really well, and can be trained entirely about where she is allowed to be. She also only scratches cat trees and cardboard scratchers - we will be providing all her favorite toys and scratchers to her new home. We adopted her a little over a year ago and tried our best to integrate her into our household with the cats we already have. Unfortunately, she does not do well with other cats and attempts to bully them out of spaces, which is why we are looking for a new home for her. We desperately wish we could keep her as we love her very much, but it's just not good for our other cats and it makes her anxious too.

These pups are in Raytown, Missouri too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Khabibi and Berti are four-year-old female tortoiseshell sisters. These lovable and sweet kitties are bonded and need to be adopted together. Both are spayed, microchipped, in good health, and are up-to-date on shots. Khabibi definitely has a TON of personality and is the dominant one.  Super smart, playful, talkative, adventurous, loves to be petted and talked too.  Bertie is more reserved, but super sweet/cuddly and also loves to play and be talked to.  They also love each other very much, and often sleep/eat/play together.    They recently lost their beloved owner and need a loving forever home. Story
This stunning boy is Sage. Sage came into a shelter that has since closed when he was just a kitten with four of his siblings. Unfortunately, we don't have great records of their age, but we believe they are five years old now. Sage has started to come out and socialize with people, likely because there aren't as many cats around. He would do best in a home with folks who have experience with cats and who are willing to give him time and space to adjust to his new environment. If you are patient and quiet he will come to you for grooming and some pets. But Sage might never be a cat who runs to you when you get home from work or who clamors to jump into your lap when you sit down, and that's okay. Please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information on Sage. He's in the Kansas City metro, but transport might be available to the right home.
