Story
Lima is a beautiful Classic Tabby with the swirls on her side. She and her five siblings were born to a mother who was ousted from an apartment building with the mothers brother. Babies were born inside and thrown outside with the mother. We were able to rescue them from the apartments parking lot and have vetted and tested them and their mother and uncle. These babies are happy now and will be adopted with a sibling. I'd have to ask the foster which one is bonded to which ones. We are looking for indoor only homes for them, non smoking homes. Story
Little six week old Marty was found in the middle of the street in downtown Detroit. He was alone, no other cats roaming around, just him. He was skinny and starving and cold. We took him in and the vet says for now he's showing Feline Leuk positive but when kittens are this young they can outgrow it. He's very active, very hungry and VERY HAPPY. He needs to be in a home for now with either a cat friendly dog and or cats who are positive. He's only 1.5 pounds right now, about six weeks old and snuggly and wants to be held a lot of the time. We are looking for a home for him, for someone who can give him love and attention he needs so badly. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me at marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Figaro is 10 years old - I got him as a kitten from a friend who had barn cats. He literally loves everyone but would do best in a one cat home. We have 2 other cats and they are not getting along so are facing the difficult decision of rehoming him- he is spoiled and loves the comfort of being an indoor cat - he loves the sunshine too and one of his favorite things to do is lounge on our screened in patio. He loves to be picked up and talked to - he also loves his tower and cuddles in bed at night.

Story
Teddy was born March 13th, he is 3 months old. He was born with 2 beautiful sisters & a rambunctious brother. He is fun and spunky, loves to cuddle and wakes up meowing for someone to give him attention. I would love to keep all the babies but we can't because we live in an apartment, and the pregnancy was unplanned. We are also adopting out his sister and they are great together. Their mom is a Maine coon, and the dad is a Gray short haired who was rescued so we don't 100% no his breed. He is great with his kitty and human family but has not been around other animals. We just want a forever home for our babies.

Story
Beans has the most amazing personality, she is gentle, demure, always purring the minute you pet her. If only we could keep them all, this girl would be staying, but we need to keep saving more lives, so someone is going to be very lucky to adopt this beautiful girl. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for fiv and leukemia, fecal tested negative. She was bitten by an infected mosquito and she tested positive for heartworm antigen, so she has received top of the line treatment, and she is done with the hard part. Now she just needs a flea treatment applied to the back of her neck for 8 more months so she can go forward and live a healthy life. We are going to provide that medication and send it home with her, so her owner who adopts her can just apply it once a month until its gone and Beans will be healthy. You can fill out the preliminary application on our website and meet this amazing little girl in Monroe. https://savingcatskittens.wixsite.com/savingcats-kittensmi/adoptions

Story
Micah is a senior cat, around 15 years old, who needs a new home due to a recent death in the family. He is a sweetheart, and very affectionate. He loves to climb up on your shoulders, and loves to be patted firmly on his back/rump like he’s a drum. We think he might do well as a solo cat with attentive humans. He might also do well in an environment with other cats as long as they aren’t overly scrappy.

Story
Mimi is a sweet 9-year-old tuxedo girl looking for a quiet, loving home, as her owner passed away suddenly. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she loves attention, belly rubs, and spending time with her favorite humans. Mimi enjoys chasing fluffy toys, watching the world from a sunny window, and indulging in her favorite Churu treats. She is litter box trained, up-to-date on vaccinations (Rabies and RCP last given on 1/17/24) through January 2027, and does well on a simple routine of prescription food (Hill's Prescription Diet Gastro BIOME) and Miralax to combat constipation. Mimi is ready to find a special person or family who will give her the love and stability she deserves.

Story
Dumpling has been with us since she was a kitten, and when she wants affection, she is the absolute sweetest girl! Sadly, we’ve realized she just isn’t happy sharing the spotlight. She frequently clashes with her littermate brother and constantly challenges our dog. For her own peace of mind, she truly needs to be the only pet in the household. She also has no experience with children, so we aren't sure how she would do with them and feel an adult-only home (or one with older teens) might be the best fit.On the health side, Dumpling is a bit on the chunky side—she’s a work in progress, despite our best efforts to help her lose weight! Also, please note that she is not up to date on her vaccinations, as we do not vaccinate our cats. She does still have all of her clawsIt breaks our hearts to rehome her from the only family she's ever known, but we want to put Dumpling's happiness first. She deserves a home where she can be the undisputed queen of the castle!
