Story
Fostered orange tabby that we rescued from the Michigan winter, and hoping to find a forever home. Benito plays hard and naps hard. He loves toys, food, and a comfy bed. He is still learning to be a house kitty, and while he doesn't spray, he may cry for the outdoors or try to run out the door. He is not aggressive but will playfully/communicatively bite or swipe when overstimulated (usually followed by some licks) and loves chasing/roughhousing with other cats. For these reasons, we recommend routine play time and nail trimming. Ever mischievous, he will attempt to open drawers and cupboards to soothe his curiosity. He is a work in progress, but the journey can be rewarding for any owner willing to take it with him. If adopted, we will provide a care package for this little baby, such as his food and favorite toys. No cost for adoption, we only hope for this angel to find a family to love, care, and be patient with him as he adjusts to domestic life.

Story
Sebastian was born on 04.04.2020. Like most orange cats; he is no stranger to antics and mischief- but he uses purrs and cuteness to charm you into overlooking this and instead focus on cuddle and petting sessions! Lol.He is the most vocal cat I have ever met- and has many different sounds he will use to 'talk' to you or roam about protesting any moment he feels the level of attention is lacking or he's unhappy with the food served for the day...he can be quite picky at times! Any new package, box, or event happening close by- he'll investigate first (boxes and packages he will claim as his own!) And he will follow you from room to room, as he hates being alone. Please note: if the occasion occurs and he's left for any long period of time, upon your return home, he will perch somewhere close by to coldly stare at you. Once said stare has been acknowledged by you, he'll casually look away dismissing you. This is his way of letting you know he did NOT approve of your absence. Lol!

Story
Missy is a gorgeous and calm kitty that loves to watch the world. Missy needs a very special adopter who may want to adopt her as a friend for another kitty or to allow her to just do her own thing. She does not want much interactions with humans, and may never be a kitty that comes to you for affection or to cuddle, but absolutely loves other kitties! She is quiet (never heard her meow!) and very playful with interactive toys. Her favorite thing is laying on the window perch watching the birds and the world and soaking up a little sun! She will not allow you to pet her or hold her (she will run), but she doesn't mind if you're in the room with her. Her siblings, Casper and Ardent love humans, but she never wanted that interaction, even as a young kitten. If you are interested in giving Missy a home where she can just be herself with no pressure for affection, please contact us! She likely would also do well as an indoor (she has never been outside) working/mousing cat in a secured shop/home. She is fixed, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and up to date on her 1st year vaccines.

Story
Kamiyah is a super sweet girl! She has lived with a toddler and other cats and does well with both. She could go to a home with another friendly cat or be an only cat. She is independent but also loves to snuggle with her humans. She often sleeps with her human foster brother! Kamiyah is super food orientated....she hasn't met a snack she doesn't like! She is super curious and adventuresome and LOVES to play! Kamiyah is FIV+, but that is not a big deal! It just means her immune system is not quite as strong and most cats so she will need a couple of immune boosting supplements, regular vet care, and a good diet to help keep her healthy! It will not prevent her from living with another cat(s), as long as proper/slow introductions are done to make sure they get along! Kamiyah is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. She is currently being fostered in Taylor.

Story
Isadora, AKA Izzy, was discovered when she started to come and eat at one of our outreach houses. After a couple of weeks, we took her in for TNR. It was then we discovered how friendly she was! Now she is living the good life inside! Izzy is good with other cats. She tolerates the smaller dogs in her foster home, but would prefer no dogs at all. Any dogs in her home would need to be cat savvy and calmer...meaning they will ignore her and won't chase her around. 🙂 Izzy has done well with children 7 and up. She won't likely appreciate the high energy and impulsive nature of littles younger than that. ;) She can be shy at times and may retreat to get some quiet time, but she also comes out for attention and pets when she is ready! The longer she is in her foster home, the more relaxed she is becoming. She mostly prefers to just chill and watch the world go by. She has newly discovered the window perch and she loves to lay in it, soaking up the sun and watching the world! Izzy is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. She is currently being fostered in Southgate.
