Story
Meet Shindig! This boy is a member of the Party Bunch litter of five siblings. They came to TMHPR when one of our volunteers saw a social media post about them. They were living outside and needed some TLC so we stepped in to help get them safe and healthy. They are now healthy and happy and ready for forever homes. Shindig is so handsome and fluffy. He is a black Tabby Maine Coone mix.  His foster mom reports that he is a total mama's boy and loves, loves, loves to be held like a baby. He would do well with a buddy in his forever home. His estimated birth date is September 9, 2023. Please visit our website at tmhpr.com for more information about our organization and our available pets.  Safe pet home visits & vet checks are required. For this reason, we only adopt locally - in the Dallas area. If you are interested in meeting or adopting one of our available pets, please fill out the adoption application found at:   tmhpr.com . Story
Introducing Cupcake: Cupcake came in with her brother, Marshmallow, a flame point ragdoll mix. This happened after their human mother died. Cupcake it is a stunning Dilute Tortie Maine Coon mix. She is very talkative and will let you know what she wants when she needs it. She did come in with Marshmallow and they do need to go home together as he is attached to her. They are about four years old and are ready to go home now. They need a quiet, no children home. They also need an experienced adopter as they are shy at first and need a little bit of work. If you are interested in adopting them, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. They are in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. Their adoption fee is $500 Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.

Story
Meet Aurora born 3/10/21. She was born in foster care and adopted in 2021. Unfortunately, due to no fault of her own, her adopters had to return her to us recently. She's now looking for a real forever home! She's a beautiful medium coat Maine Coon mixAurora is a very sweet girl. She is shy in new environments, but give her some time and she will open up her love to you. She loves to be petted and will gladly jump up to sit on your lap. If you sit at your computer for too long without giving her attention, she will gladly jump on your desk to get more love and pets. She prefers to be the only furry in the home but could do well with a very calm kitty that leaves her alone, with proper introductions. Aurora has excellent litter manners and is fully vetted. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/cat-adoption-application It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Fee is $200 which includes first years vaccinations, combo testing, spay and microchip.

Good with kids, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We adopted him in 2018, and were told he would be good with other cats. He has constantly fought with our older cat since then. We’ve tried everything to get them along and nothings worked. So he’s confined to our office room for most of the night and in the mornings they have to be separated. He loves being the center of attention, and will always be up for extra hugs. He’s sweet with kids, loves our daughter. He’s a very sweet boy. He loves hugs and cuddles and to lay on you while you’re sitting on the couch or laying in bed. He gives the best kisses and purrs away when he’s laying on you. He is about 5.5 years old. I definitely recommend a single cat household. It’s unfair for him to be cooped up all night, and we want him to have a good life, unfortunately due to circumstances we’ve decided rehoming is the best option.
