Wow! Talk about change! I was part of an extended family of cats (18 of us) until our owner passed away suddenly. Now I'm looking for a home of my own, but I'd love to have my buddy, Sammy, come with me. Hi! My name is Hermes and I am a 9-year-old gentleman that has been supervising the humans in the shop. I am needing to find other employment now since my shop was sold. I am a pretty low maintenance guy and don't ask for much, but I do like my outdoor time. I am not really that good with the younger kids, but maybe the ones over 12 years old. I'm usually okay with the dogs but new ones will take getting used to. I am a good listener too and I like to be petted. If you have a barn or shop that needs a good mouser, I am your guy! I think I am invisible to mice because, they don't see me until it is too late. But, because I am a white cat, I am NOT invisible to coyotes or other predators, so I do need to have a safe place to be at night and of course out of the bad weather. My humans feed me sensitive stomach food because sometimes what I eat doesn’t agree with my digestive system - but that food does help. I got the girls from a lady on facebook that had 3 litters at the time. She was rehoming all the kittens and the moms. I got the girls in September of 2023. They are a year and a half old. They are super sweet to their humans. They do not like other cats though. They are weary of people at first, but are major love bugs when they get to know the person. Kiara will paw at you until she gets her belly rubs and would love it if it could last forever. Vitani is a cuddler when she wants to be, but prefers to be around her sister. They do get anxious if they are separated. They a littermates and they are inseparable. They have to be the only cats in the home. Unfortunately, I have to rehome the girls because of a big move coming up and I cannot take them. It would be too stressful to be on a airplane. This is really hard for me as I have a very big bond with the girls.
