Story
This beautiful girl is looking for a very special home. Freya is the definition of a scaredy cat. She is afraid of everything...well, except the food bowl! Freya needs an owner who will understand her fears and help her to be the amazing kitty she is. Freya is litter box trained and tested negative for FeLV and FIV and is about 5 1/2 years old.September 21, 2023, 6:45 pm

Story
Wow! Talk about change! I was part of an extended family of cats (18 of us) until our owner passed away suddenly. Now I'm looking for a home of my own, but I'd love to have my buddy, Sammy, come with me. I'm still not a lap cat but I am very sweet and I will try to push in for my share of the attention when you are petting another kitty. I haven't been around dogs so that might be a new adventure! I think older kids that know how to be nice to me would be okay after I get used to my surroundings and them. I am only about 4 years old and have some spots and stripes in my brown tabby coat. Please consider me, and Sammy, if you're looking for some snuggle (eventually) company! Go to www.sccpets.com and fill out the adoption application and we'll meet to see how it goes!September 21, 2023, 6:45 pm

Story
Galaxy is a sweet young mama who just wants a home of her own to hang out in. She was found feral and pregnant outside. As she spent more time inside around people she has warmed up to her foster mom and has started cuddling in bed. She's not big on being picked up but she enjoys pets. She is a sweet girl who loves playing or looking out the window from her perch on the cat tree. If she's not on her perch, she can be found playing with her toy mice. She will need someone who understands feral cats and allow her to take her time warming up to a new human. She will have been fully vaccinated, dewormed, tested for feline leukemia and aids, microchipped, and spayed. If you are interested in meeting her, please go to www.sccpets.com.September 21, 2023, 6:45 pm

Story
Hi, My name is Hermes - I am an 8 year old gentleman that has been supervising the humans in the shop. I am needing to find other employment now. So, about me, I am a pretty low maintenance guy, I don't ask for much, but I do like my outdoor time. I am not really that good with the younger kids, but maybe the ones over 12 years old. I might be ok with a nice dog - depending on the breed and age. I think I am invisible to mice because, they don't see me until it is too late. If you have a barn or shop that needs a good mouser, I am your guy! I am a good listener too and I like to be petted. Because I am a white cat, I am not invisible to coyotes or other predators, so I do need to have a safe place to be at night and of course out of the bad weather. My humans feed me sensitive stomach food because sometimes I throw up - but that does help. I am current on my vaccines and will be microchipped as a part of the adoption process.September 21, 2023, 6:45 pm

Story
Alfie is a shy boy looking for a very special family. He was found with his sister Penny in a box on the side of the road so didn't have a great start in life. He has made a lot of progress in his foster home, but he will likely need someone patient who can give him the time to adjust to a new home and continue to work with him to bring him out of his shell. Once you have gained his trust, he will squeak at you with his tiny, cute meow when he wants attention. He loves to get pets and give headbutts of love (and he has the softest fluffy fur!) and share his soft purr with you. He is fine with other cats, no experience around dogs, but would probably be best without them. Would also do best in home without children. He is littertrained, microchipped, and we are looking for an indoor only home for him. He was born in May 2022 (approx).September 21, 2023, 6:45 pm

Story
Mocoo (Momo) is a handsome, indoor-only Tuxedo Cat. He is 7 years old and has a clean bill of health with all vaccines updated. Momo is an independent cat who likes affection and attention but is not incredibly needy. He is litter-box trained, both top-open and side-open boxes. Momo's favorite things are teaser wands, sun-bathing, burrowing in blankets, canned food, Churu snacks on a licky mat, and gentle head scratches (we'll provide a care package w/ his favorites + $25 Petco gift card to ensure that he has a smooth transition). Momo is an alpha male feline and cannot be with other cats. He does well with dogs and humans - just not other cats. Momo becomes aggressive when he sees other felines. This is why it is important that Momo is the only cat in his new home. Momo is a loving, sweet cat to humans, and we are sad to let him go but w/ 3 other cats and a dog, it's becoming a challenge to keep the cats separated and safe as my fiancée and I are sharing a home now. Thank you!

Story
Hello! I am Snooki. I am a fun and playful kitty. We can talk all day long and also cuddle underneath the blankets. I would like to stay bonded with my sister because we've been together since birth. I am so sweet and my favorite places for rubs are under my chin, on my ears, and next to my tail. I can be shy but I warm up well with patience and cuddles.

Story
My name is Mr. Tom Grey, but you can call me Tom for short. I am the sweetest boy that will follow you around like a dog for my wet food and will take belly rubs all day, every day. I am FIV positive so I should be in a home with other friendly kitties or independently. I also have IBD which is Feline inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a condition in which a cat’s gastrointestinal (GI) tract becomes chronically irritated and inflamed. Because of this I need to be on daily medication. To top it all off I have diabetes and need daily insulin injections and can only eat diabetic food. Furry Friends can tell you everything you need to know about my care! I was a stray boy who was used to fending for myself but I have gotten quite comfortable being taken care of! I am quiet and easy going. If you would like to meet me please fill out an application at furryfriendswa.org you won't regret it!    ##951261##

Story
Hello! I'm Oz! I am an 11 year old boy, with lots of love to give! I love to be brushed, and I have the loudest purr. I am searching for the perfect home where I can lose some weight in order to live a healthy happy life! Because of my weight, it is hard for me to groom myself so I might need your help with that every so often. I would do best in a home where my owners are home a lot and can give me lots of attention, as well as motivate me to exercise. I also am diabetic so I need daily insulin injections and special food. Furry Friends can tell you everything I need! If you're interested in meeting me, please go to www.FurryFriendsWA.org and click adopt to fill out an application! ##1488261##

Story
I'm Penguin! I am only about a year old, and I love other cats. I was a little shy when I first came to the shelter, but once I feel safe I will open up! I enjoy being around other kitties so I'm hoping to go to a home with another cat if possible. I like to sleep at the top of my cat tree, and also hang out on the catio. I would do ok around quiet older kids, but I'm not sure how I'd feel around a dog. Story
Atticus is a young female tabby who just had her litter of kittens and is looking for a quiet patient home who will allow her to come out of her shell. Atticus is very shy and hesitant of humans at first, but is quick to engage and play with other friendly cats. She would prefer to be in a quiet, low traffic home with no small children or dogs. As a former indoor/outdoor cat, she loves spending most of her time in the catio or laying on a window perch watching birds and squirrels. When she starts feeling comfortable with her surroundings, Atticus loves to play with feather toy wands, cat tunnels and loves treats from a distance. In foster care, she has made great strides in becoming a more confident cat and with a calm and patient home and a family willing to understand her cues and encourage her confidence, Atticus will be a sweet and loving addition to your home. If you would like to meet me, please go to furryfriendswa.org and click 'adopt' to fill out an application. ##1680779##
