Petey is a sweet, fun, lovable pup. I have had him since birth. He is 5 months old now. He has been raised on a ranch around lots of other animals, dogs, cats, horses, cows, and rabbits. He is very good with my kids and will follow them anywhere. He is a pretty good guard dog as well barks when ever anyone or anything comes near the house. He is a good boy, sits for his food or a treat and will shake. He loves other dogs and cats. Honestly the only problem I am having with him right now is he keeps chasing my horse around and the cows. That is in his breed though. His dad is a full blood blue heeler and his mom is a catahoula / blue Lacey mix. He is not potty trained as he has been strictly an outside dog. He has been wormed several times and had one round of puppy shots but he will need another round of shots and a rabies shot. Also not fixed yet. He needs a loving home that has the time to give him the attention he deserves.

Meet Bowie!! Born in October 2020, he is the definition of joy in a furry package. He's incredibly sweet, loving, and always greets you with a full body wiggle (yes, butt wiggle included!) Looking for a personality? He is friendly with all and a social butterfly. Bowie adores his canine and feline friends and has perfect manners with children. He's happiest when included--whether it's hanging out with other dogs or spending time with his people. Bowie is easy going, calm and adaptable. Bowie's favorite things include walks & car rides: Just don't say the words unless you're ready--his little feet will start tippy tapping in excitement! Belly rubs are Bowie's ultimate love language and while not overly food motivated, he enjoys snacks and knows how to sit and stay. The best thing about Bowie is simple, he's just happy to be included. His cheerful spirit, gentle nature, and love for companionship make him the perfect addition to any family!! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Blue is an Aussie mix, he is very social and loves to play, Blue needs an active owner and a yard, with a fence, not suited for apartment Blue is very energetic, he likes other dogs but plays rough. He would need to be paired with a patient dog who can put up with his immature behavior, he doesn't always read cues to stop playing. His potty training has progressed significantly but he does still have accidents in the kennel occasionally. His personality is super loving and sweet, but he is mischievous and likes to be the life of the party and is still very much a puppy. Blue push boundaries and see how much he can get away with so he will need a strong leader. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment).
