Story
I found Molly on a remote county road in the Texas Panhandle. Someone had abandoned her at only 8 or 9 months old. Not cool! Molly went native for about 24 hours before I saw her hiding in the grass. She was really glad to see me. She has been sweet, loving and appreciative every minute since she hopped into the pickup for the first time. Molly fits in great with our other 5 dogs since she arrived. Molly is 100% cow dog, but she appreciates city life too. She can take-in a movie at home on the couch or load your heifer in a trailer. She has a very sweet personality and is not dominant. Molly is trainable, very athletic and wants to go everywhere you go. She weighs about 28 pounds and seems to be fully grown. Molly likes morning or evening walks, Italian food and small furry toys with a squeaker. She has had her shots and has been spayed. We are not asking a fee for Molly. We want her to have a great home.

Story
This is Annabelle! She is a female mixed breed of a blue heeler terrier, and getting close to 10 years old. She does not look it and still has lots of energy to play/go for walks and loves going to doggy daycare to get the extra attention! She is an indoor dog but loves going outside and knows when she has to go by using the doggy door. We have a baby now and looking to rehome her since she has been the only pet and getting the attention has been hard to not give her the time and care that she needs. She is a sweet dog and can see her going to a caring home, but she does have Addison's that requires her to take medicine daily and then also getting a once-a-month injection to help manage her levels.

Name of pet: Dallas Breed & age of pet: Heeler mix, 2 years old. Rehoming comes with kennel and foldable playpen. Location: Downtown Dallas Spayed/Neuter/Shots info: She is spayed, microchipped, Other pet Info: Hello DFW pet lovers, It is with a heavy heart that my fiancé and I are looking to rehome our sweet heeler pup, Dallas. We rescued her a few years ago from the Dallas Animal Shelter and she has been an amazing, loving member of our family. Unfortunately, with a baby on the way and living in a high-rise downtown, we've come to realize she deserves so much more than we can currently give her. Dallas is a true companion and the best cuddle bug. She is incredibly smart, loyal, and aims to please. She loves to play and would be the perfect companion for an active individual or family who can provide her with a yard to run

These pups are in Allen, Texas too!

Story
PROS: Friendly and social – Enjoys being around people and other animals. Affectionate – Loves cuddles, pets, and spending time with humans. Good with kids – Gentle and patient around children. Good with other dogs – Gets along well with other pets. Calm temperament – Relaxed, not overly anxious or hyper. Well-behaved indoors – Doesn’t chew furniture or cause damage. House-trained – Knows to go potty outside Basic obedience – Knows commands like sit, stay, come, or down. Smart and trainable Good traveler – Rides calmly in the car. CONS: I am to believe that he is a high anxiety dog especially when nobody is home. He marks inside the house only when nobody is home with him and when we keep him outside for the duration that we’re gone, he still finds a way to hop over the fence. We’ve tried numerous of things to keep him contained in the back yard but he still keeps finding ways to escape. Like previously stated, he’s house trained but ONLY marks when left alone inside.

Story
Meet Daisy Dukes: The Independent Farm Helper Introducing Daisy Dukes, also known as Daisy Collerville. Rescued from a hoarding case, Daisy is a nine-year-old, 60-pound shepherd mix who thrives on having her own space. Although she's feral and prefers to keep her distance from people, she would be a perfect fit for a farm where she can put her excellent perimeter-walking skills to use. Daisy is a natural at keeping predators off your property and would be a valuable asset in a farm setting. She gets along well with chickens and cats, and she's generally good with other dogs. While she's fine with people, she prefers to stay away and enjoy her independence. Given her background and feral nature, Daisy currently lives in boarding due to her fear of people. She would do great on a fenced-in farm where she can roam freely and enjoy the barn life without the risk of wandering off. Daisy is looking for a special sponsor to help cover her boarding costs and ensure she continues to live comfortably. If you have a farm and are looking for a hardworking helper who's good with animals and prefers her own space, Daisy Dukes is your girl. If you're interested in sponsoring Daisy and helping her live a safe and happy life, please consider supporting her today. Story
Berne, means 'bear-like' and this boy is so cute and has the waddle of a bear! As cute as he was we noticed something else was going on with this boy besides being a tail-less wonder. His back end seemed smooshed. We got him checked out, after x-rays and evaluation he has a compressed spine. This is common in some breeds. We don't know his breed but it will be something he has forever. He is not in pain and still acts like a normal puppy. As he gets a little bigger, we will see if there are any remedies or treatments that might help him but we do suspect he will live a happy life and would be an awesome addition to any family. He may need to be in household with older kids so he doesn't get knocked around. He is potty trained. He is doing great with crate and leash training. He loves tug of war, bully sticks and pestering his older foster siblings. He has spurts of energy a couple times a day, doesn't last long and otherwise very chill! Vet suspects he will get to 30 pounds. This sweet boy was found as a stray in a park. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at http://dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
