Hello, This is Miley- yes like Miley Cyrus. She gets her name from the ball of energy and love she comes at you with! But don’t let her energy fool you. She’s not opposed to some couch potato time! Miley is a very sweet loving girl. She loves walks, going places, and puzzles. We have had Miley for a little over a year. She’s crate trained, house broken, and up to date on rabies vacc. We are re-homing Miley due to some unfortunate circumstances. Miley has shown aggression towards our other dogs. We did not see this in her nature when we first adopted her from our local shelter. But now it’s constant. Unfortunately, Miley spends a lot of time in her crate due to fear of a fight. I say with confidence she LOVES people. But I believe she needs to be the only dog or even pet in the home. She’s great with older kids. We are not looking to just re-home her to anyone. We need an experienced adopter to take on this sweet girl. She has the potential to be a great partner.

At just 8 months old, she was set to be euthanized by her owners, not for any real reason, they simply didn't want to care for her anymore. Her veterinarian couldn't stand by and let that happen. This beautiful girl is Lucy. She is 3 years old and everything you expect a Border Collie to be. She is highly intelligent and focused. She has a super sweet temperament and loves people. Playing tug and with her jolly ball are 2 of her favorite things to do. She loves to give kisses and be petted so much that she tries to climb in your lap. Lucy knows sit, down and stay on command. She is crate trained and rides well. She is housetrained except for some occasional submissive wetting when attaching her leash. When she came to us, she was afraid to walk on a leash. She is now doing better with it but still can be a little fearful of it at first. She is UTD on all vaccines, HW negative and on preventative, and has been spayed. Lucy will need a home where she is the only dog and without cats. She has a very strong herd drive and focus so even though she has not been tested around children more than getting pet by them while on walks, small children would probably not be a good fit for her.
