I’m playful and agile, but I also know how to relax and enjoy quiet time at home. 🏠 I already have my manners down. I’m crate-trained, housebroken, walk nicely on leash, and know my basic commands. I’m respectful with other dogs at mealtime, friendly with dogs, gentle with cats, and great with kids. Millie is a sweet girl living the farm life now, but that almost wasn't her story. At just 8 months old, she was set to be euthanized by her owners, not for any real reason, they simply didn't want to care for her anymore. Her veterinarian couldn't stand by and let that happen. She stepped in and offered to board Millie until a foster or rescue could be found. That's how Millie ended up here. Today Millie is thriving in a farm foster home. She's good with cats, dogs, and children, she recalls beautifully once she knows and trusts you, and she is an absolute snuggle bug. Here's the honest part: Millie will likely be terrified of you at your first meet and greet. Tail tucked, glued to the opposite side of the room, unsure if you're safe. SUMO - AVAILABLE for adoption! Apply to adopt at BCRRT.COM! Sumo is an energetic, smart and loving 6.5 year old, 50 lb Border Collie. He loves being pet and laying on the couch with his people. He sleeps in his bed and sometimes likes to hop up in bed with you if you allow such shenanigans! He is great with kids, however sometimes when the energy in the room is very high he will match that energy and start to try and herd the kids. He loves loves loves catching the frisbee. He loves walks and is great on the leash. Sometimes when other dogs walk past he will need to be given a treat and told to sit and pay attention to us because he will want to meet the other dog. He is very treat motivated and loves to eat his food. He is very engaged in whatever is happening around him and will match the energy in the room. He loves to fetch anything. When we have done training time he is 100% plugged in and loves it. Sumo currently lives with a cat and they get along great. Usually Sumo just ignores her but sometimes they will play. Sumo has never hurt her. His ideal home would be one that is ready to open their heart and time to him. He would thrive with an owner that wanted to do agility or other sports or fun trick training. He is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and heartworm negative. He's READY for you!

My name is Sydney and I am a 30 lb, 3 year old Mini Aussie mix, spayed, healthy, athletic, and FUN! I love people, food (all food, especially spinach!), and tennis balls. I also enjoy car rides, going to fun places (especially if you help me not feel overwhelmed by too many stranger dogs), playing fetch (best thing on the planet!), and crushed ice! My Faux Mom and I have been working really hard to get me ready for you! I have nice house manners, and am learning to have nice manners with other dogs. I live with a dog who tolerates my Mini Aussie herding style and the way I alert them to noises and squirrels! My dog friends need to give me a little space, and be OK with sharing all their toys. I eat in my crate so my dog friend doesn’t have to worry that I’ll eat all her food and we can both eat in peace. I sleep through the night in my crate, and am crated when no people are home, and I don’t mind that at all. I’m hoping for a home with a nice yard for ball play (do this enough, and I won’t need a lot of other exercise!) with no small animals (chasing is SO FUN!) and no small children (same reason). Meet Brianna, a bonnie wee red haired Scottish lass if ever there was one. She would turn the heads of any Scotsman or Sassenach to be sure. She has the intelligence and intense focus of her Scottish ancestors. She has the most beautiful brown eyes and thick red coat with just the right amount of freckles (aka naughty spots). Brianna does well with other dogs, kids and cats. She is a year old so as to be expected of a young border collie she is very high energy and intense. She loves to play with the other animals but often does not quit when they are tired of playing but is very good at stopping when you tell her to. She knows “Sit” and “Down” and will come when called. She knows the “Wait” command and has a very good recall. She is good on leash after she gets settled down. We are working on not jumping up on people and still have a way to go on that but she listens when you tell her “Off”. She loves to play Frisbee and ball and loves all kinds of toys. She loves to go to the lake and play in the water. Brianna is a happy girl who is full of life and love. The perfect home for her would be one with active humans who would include her in their actives. Some one who would take the time to continue her training and maybe try agility or some other sporting activities. She loves to cuddle with her people and talk to them. Brianna tends to be very vocal. She is crate trained, spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on all her vaccines. So do you think you are the right Sassenach to handle this Scottish lass? Millie is a sweet, smart, and bubbly girl who's ready to bring joy to her forever home. She loves walks, hikes, and proudly carrying her favorite orange rubber "wishbone" toy. Millie knows several commands -- sit, down, place, and heel -- and she'll happily show off her skills for her people. This vocal girl isn't shy about telling you when she needs to go out or when she's ready for attention. At home, she's easygoing: after 10-15 minutes of play, Millie is content to lounge and relax. She's house trained, kennel trained, and e-collar trained, making her a well-mannered companion. Millie thrives as the only pet and would do best in a home without young children. She enjoys snuggling when she's in the mood and will reward her people with love, laughter, and loyalty. Blue is an Aussie mix, he is very social and loves to play, Blue needs an active owner and a yard, with a fence, not suited for apartment Blue is very energetic, he likes other dogs but plays rough. He would need to be paired with a patient dog who can put up with his immature behavior, he doesn't always read cues to stop playing. His potty training has progressed significantly but he does still have accidents in the kennel occasionally. His personality is super loving and sweet, but he is mischievous and likes to be the life of the party and is still very much a puppy. Blue push boundaries and see how much he can get away with so he will need a strong leader. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment).
