Story
Please welcome Lillian back to Rescue Row. Lillian was adopted three years ago and, through no fault of her own, has returned to our rescue. After her mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness, her family made the incredibly difficult decision to surrender her so she can find a home that can provide the exercise and attention she needs. At 3½ years old, Lillian is looking for a very active family of her own. She is friendly, outgoing, and always ready for her next adventure. With her happy personality and active nature, she’ll make an amazing companion for a family that loves to stay on the go. She is house trained, kennel trained, great with babies and children, does well with other dogs and ignores the resident boss cat. According to Wisdom Panel, Lillian is: 49% Australian Shepherd/42% Poodle/7% Golden Retriever/2% Miniature American Shepherd. If you’re searching for an active, fun-loving companion, Lillian could be the perfect addition to your family. Apply today at www.rescuerowinc.org.

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
