Story
Saphira is a 2 year 4 month old weimaraner/hound rescue. She is spayed and house trained and loves to cuddle. Saphira has had a lot of training and knows basic commands but she struggles with reactivity and resource guarding. I have 4 other dogs and she doesn't get along with 2 of them which is why I am rehoming her. She is not aggressive and has never injured another animal or person. She is high energy and she is scared on walks but loves to play fetch in the backyard. She is an adorable goofball that will fall asleep on top of you. She needs an experienced owner preferably a trainer or someone who has had reactive dogs before.

Ever met a mini Weimaraner? We hadn't either, but here is Ophelia! This petite lady is a Weimaraner (she has AKC paperwork), but she is on the small side- She only weighs about 35 pounds! She is just over 1 year old and is an active and social girl. While (we assume) she wasn't bred to be this small, this is as much as she grew. Weims are NOT a breed that comes in size varieties. They are usually 55-90 pounds when full grown. But just hectare she is small, does not mean that she has any less energy. Ophelia loves other dogs and is good with older kids. She may be good with younger kids, but she has not been around kids under 13 with us or with cats. She is a high energy girl and her future family will need to be active!! She has spent most of her life outside, so we are not 100% sure on housetraining with her. She goes inside sometimes, and has not had accidents, but it's not enough for a "stamp of approval on housetraining. Ophelia LOVES toys and will come up to anyone to play with her! And rolling in the grass! She has not been around cats with us, so we are not sure how she would do with them. Ophelia will be ready to go to her new home on September 29th after she heals from her spay! Saphira is a cuddles with no sense of personal space. Her favorite activity is fetch in the backyard. She is anxious on walks but will tolerate them provided there aren't many cars passing by. She spreads her legs when sitting like she is doing the splits. She needs an active and experienced owner that will help her through her anxiety. She is very loving and smart.
