Story
Maya is a 5-year-old with a heart as big as her energy. She’s truly one of the sweetest dogs you’ll meet—always tuned in, full of life, and deeply loyal. She’s curious about everything, a little goofy in the best way, and happiest when she’s running, playing, or curled up right next to you like a lap dog. She’s not an aggressive dog by nature and has spent most of her life being loving and engaged with her people. However, she has had a few moments of food aggression with smaller dogs that led to injuries in the heat of the moment. Because of that, our toddler's safety and fairness to Maya, we believe Maya would do best as the only pet in a home where she can feel fully secure and thrive. She deserves an environment where her personality can shine without stress—and where she can be someone’s one and only, just soaking up all the attention and love she naturally gives right back.

Story
Hershey had quite a journey getting to rescue so she could find her forever home. She is a very engaged and loving girl and really enjoys her human company. Hershey lives with dogs of all sizes and ages and is good with most everyone, even the little evil one that loves to torment others. She has good house manners, can be in a crate, but isn’t a huge fan. She loves to go for rides, is great on a leash, and enjoys meeting new people, so would be a good go everywhere girl. She is not good with cats, just too curious for that species.Hershey is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Meet Vincent – Your One-and-Only Adventure Buddy Vincent is an approximately 1-year-old Catahoula mix weighing 56 lbs who is ready to trade shelter life for a home of his own. After spending 173 days waiting as of 05/14/26, he's now one of our Diamond Dogs, and his adoption fee has been reduced to just $75- but what he really wants is a family to call his own. This handsome boy has the looks that turn heads and a personality that keeps life fun. Vincent is still very much a puppy at heart- full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm. He's smart, playful, and thrives on interaction, making him a great match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready to continue his training and development. Vincent does well with other dogs but can be a bit dominant with other males- he's truly a ladies' man and tends to prefer female canine companions. A meet and greet is always recommended to ensure the best fit. He would also do best in a home without cats. He was originally found near Corporate Crossing in Rockwall and, although microchipped, was never reclaimed. Since then, he's been patiently waiting for someone to see his potential- and he's more than ready to meet them. Vincent is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his rabies, DAPPV, and Bordetella vaccinations. If you're looking for a smart, energetic dog who will keep you on your toes and be your constant companion, Vincent may be the perfect match.
