Story
Roxy is an energetic and super loving young (2 years old) Yorkie mix. She is a little over 8 lbs. When I first got her I was told she is a YorkiePoo but everyone who meets her is convinced she has some jack russel mixed in due to her facial features. She is the sweetest dog ever and loves kisses! She loves to run and play with humans and other dogs. Unfortunately she is not getting the attention she needs and deserves in my home as I have an 8 month old and now expecting my second baby in May.

Story
Teddy is a mini yorkie that came to us during the pandemic. He is your quintessential lap dog. He weighs about 5lbs and loves to be held. He is tremendously loyal to his caretaker following me around the house continually. He will always take a nap with you:) He does struggle with occasional peeing in the house and therefore we have many reusable diapers for him to wear. We have had Teddy for about 5 years. Our circumstances have changed and we need to find a loving home for our beloved Teddy.

Story
*Name: Coco *Age: 12 years old *Current Weight: 17 lbs *Adoption fee: $300 Coco is a lovable 12-year-old Yorkie mix originally rescued from Texas. Don’t let his age fool you – Coco is full of energy and lives for adventure! He’s house-trained and does well on a leash, but his favorite thing in the world is running freely and exploring off-leash. He especially enjoys long hikes through the woods, where he can show off his youthful spirit. Coco’s playful side shines through when he’s chasing plush squeaky toys (though the squeaker doesn’t stand a chance!) or playing fetch. Belly rubs are his ultimate weakness – he will soak up every ounce of affection you have to give. With easy-to-maintain, non-shedding hair, Coco is a dream for grooming and is well-behaved during vet and groomer visits. He’s spent the last five years happily living with kids aged 8-13 and currently resides peacefully with another small dog. Coco is ready to be your forever companion. Apply today and let him fill your home with joy! To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2306241##

Story
Hi, I’m Farfel — a 1-year-old tiny Yorkie, and I mean tiny tiny… just about 3 pounds. I came from a backyard breeder situation, so my start in life wasn’t exactly what it should have been. But now I’m safe, and I’m learning that the world can be warm, gentle, and full of love — especially when there’s a lap involved. Despite my size, I have a big heart and a very sweet nature. I absolutely love to snuggle, and feel most comfortable when I’m close to my person. Being held, tucked into blankets, or curled up next to you is my favorite place to be. I’m still young and discovering what it means to just be a happy little dog. I’m looking for a forever home that understands how delicate I am — someone who will protect me, cherish me, and treat me like the precious little soul I am. If you’ve ever dreamed of a tiny shadow who wants nothing more than to be loved and held, I’m ready! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hello hello! I’m Harry — a 1-year-old Yorkie weighing just about 5 pounds, and I’m the bold guy of the bunch. I was rescued from a backyard breeding situation along with some other Yorkies. People say I’m the most confident of my little crew, always ready to say hello and see what fun is happening next. I’ve got a big personality packed into a tiny body. Everyone calls me a cutie patootie, and honestly… they’re not wrong. I’m ready for a forever home where I can keep being my happy, outgoing self and soak up all the love I missed out on early in life. If you’re looking for a tiny dog with a confident strut, a sweet heart, and endless charm, I think we’re going to be very good friends.
