Her and her daughter Daisy were found abandoned by their family when their dad went into assisted living, they were left in the cold until a good Samaritan brought them to safety. While we would love to keep these girls together they are not bonded and can be placed separate homes. Delilah aka Momma yorkie is a hoot and knows she deserves to be queen of the couch. She loves to snuggle up next to you or chill on a comfy bed. She gets along with dogs and cats. She is only 9lbs so please keep in mind she needs more frequent potty breaks than a larger dog Daisy is a sweet soul who needs lots of loving. She is a 3 year old yorkie mix and is perfectly content with a warm cozy spot to lounge and sleep the day away. She is a low maintenance girl. This little man was found as a stray in the city thin, filthy, and covered in urine, and was brought to ACCT. There, he was incredibly overwhelmed and fearful. He was grumbly, snappy, and just wanted to be left alone - who could blame him?? We were able to offer him a safe escape and a cozy spot in foster care. Pudding is slowly beginning to let his guard down. He is still very nervous in new situations and around new people, so he will need a patient family willing to take things at his pace. Pudding wouldn’t fit in a busy home with children. However, he’d benefit from having a confident dog in his family to help show him the ropes. Right now, Pudding prefers his foster mom above everyone else. He bonds quickly and deeply, craving closeness and attention for those he trusts. He is still working on his training, but is eager to please. This little man just needs time and patience to truly blossom and show his true colors! Tianna is a 5 year old spayed female yorkie who weighs 13 pounds. She was rescued from outside living by another organization, but they were at capacity and asked for our assistance. Tianna is a very shy girl that keeps to herself and we cannot imagine what she has been through. She is looking for a patient and quieter home, that can work with her and show her that not all humans are bad. For her best interest, she must go to a home with at least one other dog and a fenced in yard, but she also utilizes pee pads to potty as well. She has tested great with other dogs and will sit on your lap for pets, but she is still a bit unsure. She does well in the crate train, is learning what a leash is and cannot wait to start her next chapter. Lily’s a 5mo 5lb Doxie/Chi/Yorkie mix. She’s dog and kid friendly. She’s working on being housetrained, pee pad and crate trained. She’ll be good in a secure fenced in yard once trained but will need a leash in the yard since is still an escape artist and needs work on harness leashed walks. She loves to play with toys and other dogs. She’s playful, sweet and smart. Lily’s foster requires a home where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, another young playful dog along with people to give leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Lily as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Lily’s vaccinated and will need to be spayed and microchipped at 6mons. ✨Meet Lucy!✨ Lucy is a 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix who came into us as a surrender from a commercial breeding facility (aka Puppy Mill) in Lancaster County. Lucy had a very difficult life before coming to us, being used as a mill mama her entire life. She is shut down at this time but is slowly starting to give us her trust. We are confident she will make a wonderful family member for a very lucky family, who understands her past and gives her the time she needs to trust them and her new surroundings. Lucy loves other animals, and will thrive in a home with at least one other dog. Adopting a puppy mill survivor is life-changing—for you and them. For these dogs, everything is new and often overwhelming: people, houses, stairs, leashes, food bowls, collars, toys, TVs, ovens, doorways, pavement…the list goes on. They need adopters who can move slowly, be patient, keep expectations reasonable, and provide the understanding and tools they need to grow into happy, confident companions.
