Sita is a 6-year-old purebred Japanese Akita alpha female. She is spayed and vaccinated and weighs 70 pounds. She lives in Crestline with two of her adult pups and needs to be rehomed. She was rescued from a back-yard breeder and needs to be relocated as the woman who was gifted her pups cannot accommodate three dogs. She is a sweet, loyal, and protective pet. However, she needs to be in a large, secure, and fenced yard where she can get her energy out and flourish. Sita would be optimally placed as someone’s go-everywhere, bestie, and she is a great trail dog. She loves the car and is a natural therapy dog because she is loving and sweet to everyone. She wants to be a constant companion and has the skills for it! She’s one of a kind! She might do well with another large dog, as she loves to play with others, but we wouldn’t recommend her around anything smaller. She can be transported into Los Angeles or Orange Counties for a meet-and-greet to any serious potential adopter. This young guy is super fun and a total looker. He’s an athlete for sure….. he just may not know the rules of the game….. but he’s super up to learn! He is really friendly and eager to play, but also just loves getting attention (treats are good too) and knowing what was going on. He seems to be an Akita mix and definitely has that Akita attentiveness. He’s a nice mid size (much smaller than a standard Akita) and has a medium level of fluff. He will need regular brushing to maintain that fluff, and regular exercise to manage his play level. In return, he will be your absolute bestie forever! You will never have a better bestie than him! You also will have a dog photo for any occasion at the ready on your camera roll cuz you’re gonna take so many pictures of this heartbreaker. Tonga will need some basic training and a nice consistent walk/ exercise/play routine.

MEET CECILE! Cecile is a 1yr Husky/Malmute mix (aka Alusky) that weighs about 50lbs. She wandered into an outdoor flea market and happily watched 100's of people and dogs shopping. We brought her into our rescue after looking for her owners. Cecile is now at our kennel and ready for a forever home! Cecile is still a youngster and needs someone who can give her attention, exercise and training. She would make a great running and hiking buddy. Cecile is affectionate, very people oriented, and has been indifferent around other animals.
