Sita is a 6-year-old purebred Japanese Akita alpha female. She is spayed and vaccinated and weighs 70 pounds. She lives in Crestline with two of her adult pups and needs to be rehomed. She was rescued from a back-yard breeder and needs to be relocated as the woman who was gifted her pups cannot accommodate three dogs. She is a sweet, loyal, and protective pet. However, she needs to be in a large, secure, and fenced yard where she can get her energy out and flourish. Sita would be optimally placed as someone’s go-everywhere, bestie, and she is a great trail dog. She loves the car and is a natural therapy dog because she is loving and sweet to everyone. She wants to be a constant companion and has the skills for it! She’s one of a kind! She might do well with another large dog, as she loves to play with others, but we wouldn’t recommend her around anything smaller. She can be transported into Los Angeles or Orange Counties for a meet-and-greet to any serious potential adopter.
