Story
Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday.  Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in.  Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down.  Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. He also is very protective of his home and loves to keep patrol of his yard! He loves toys and water and would make the perfect travel buddy! Story
We got Remy in 2022 at the SWHS and he's been a great addition to our family. In 2024 we had a surprise pregnancy and we're no longer able to keep up with his needs. He's a good good boy who needs someone to take him on walks and adventures and give him lots of scratches on his booty. He wants to be wherever you are so he can sit at your feet and hang out with you. He is good with patient cats that endure being sniffed. He's good around kids but will run past them and knock them over on accident. He's played with dogs before and we even fostered another male dog for a few months which he tolerated but he didn't enjoy it. He might get a long with a gentle female dog. If you apply to adopt then I'll text you a full detailed description of everything I can think of that you'd need to know before adopting him!

Story
Brooklyn is both adorable… and adoring! This cutie has a deep love for her people that you’ll feel the moment she looks into your eyes. She’s super tolerant and doesn’t mind being held, cuddled or kissed, and she loves gentle pets and sweet voices. Her nickname is baby for a reason! She is just a big ole baby lookin for love! Brooklyn has this soft and sweet side to her that will surely make her feel like a member of your family in no time. We believe that Brooklyn is an American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully mix of some sort. She’s estimated to be around 5 years old, and she has so many good dog skills to prove it! Brooklyn is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses! Watch her video and you'll be head over heels for Brooklyn: https://youtu.be/GY2Hu3jQnrE?si=WDaNPHv5yUuxsOSa So easy to love, Brooklyn is warm and friendly with everyone she meets. She also has great leash manners, and loves to go out in public to the park. When she sees other doggies and squirrels she is sure to always listen to her handler. She is constantly checking in and looking at you to make sure she gets your approval. It’s so endearing. Brooklyn is just one of those dogs that is so happy to get out and about with you. You can tell she’s really grateful for anytime she gets with you. No matter who you are! We do warn you, she’s so cute and friendly that walks through the neighborhood will likely lead to many new friends and pet-stops along the way!! This girl is a pup cup lover, so be sure to get her one (or two) on the way home! Brooklyn is dog-friendly and all the boys love her, who can blame them?! She's beautiful, has the best personality, and brings that Beyonce confidence to the yard that all the boys can't resist. All of Brooklyn's boyfriends are playful, happy go-lucky, goofy guys that love to bounce around, play chase, enjoy the occasional rumble and tumble, and they are also quite the gentleman type that will take play breaks on their own and respect Brooklyn's boundaries when she's done playing. For the most part, Brooklyn is enjoying the sunshine and fresh air while the other pups around her are playing. She loves to hangout and "doggy" watch, she's the dog persona of a "people" watcher LOL. Even when she has found a boyfriend she likes, Brooklyn enjoys their company and will play every so often. In a home, she will do best with a happy go-lucky male that will play with her and also a boy toy that will save a spot for her on the couch. Bonus points if the other dog in the home will snuggle up for a nap right along side her! If you don't have other dogs, that's fine too! She does not need the company of other dogs to help her feel comfortable and open up nor does she need another dog to fulfill her energy needs. She is a confident love bug all on her own and she will be ready for couch snuggles after a leisurely walk in the park. No kitties for Brooklyn too please, she is a little too interested in our house cat Biggie. Eager to please and food-motivated, Brooklyn will be an enjoyable dog to further train. She’s gentle when she takes treats from your hand, but enthusiastically grateful for treats in a way that will melt your heart. Brooklyn is also great at sharing treats with other dogs without jealousy or fear. Brooklyn has also been around kids as young ages 4, 7, and 11 years old and her sweet nature shined through with them as well. She was not phased by the running around, jumping, loud noises, and those random unexpected movements little ones are known for. She never jumped for affection and was gentle all the way around. With Cash, the 7 year old, it was like watching two long lost friends that have known each other their whole lives. She loved spending time with him and you can just tell how comfortable and relaxed she was around him. He walked her on leash, gave her treats, she listened to him when he gave her a command, and she would happily stand there and lean into him while he was hugging her. One thing that every kid has said is their favorite thing about her is how sweet she is and the love how she loves to chase bubbles and chomped at the water hose. We believe she has all of the traits to be a wonderful addition to a family with kids. Brooklyn is ready for her forever! We think Brooklyn would prefer a home with a yard over an apartment. She could live with other dogs, but she could also thrive as your one and only. We have had the opportunity to cat-test Brooklyn here at the rescue, a kitty-free home would be best for Brooklyn. We are willing to test Brooklyn with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
