Story
T-tappy toes when excited R-relaxes next to her hooman I-intelligent little lady N-no bone left behind! K-keeper of the treats (sometimes she hoards them in her cage for a lil snack later on!) E-excited, energetic goofball T-tame and calm when she needs to be That’s TRINKET! This sweet girl is the perfect mix of zoomies and zzz’s. She’s kid friendly, and she’s also dog friendly, though she needs a little time to adjust and warm up to new dogs. Trinket is not a fan of cats or small dogs, though, due to her tendency to play rough. This “little” 60 pound lapdog is a bulldog mix, coming in at just under 2 years old. She’s very smart, and she already knows basic commands like sit, lay down, paw, other paw, leave it, go cage, and off. She also knows some key words, like “bone,” “toy,” and of course, her favorite, “treat!” She is house and crate trained, and she is really the perfect dog for anyone just starting out (or anyone at all!)—she’s past the destructive puppy phase, she’s already well trained, she’s full of love, and she’s incredibly eager to please. What’s not to love?? Although her foster family is loving the time spent with this little angel, Trinket would love even more to find her forever family! We don’t know what her past was like, or who mutilated her poor ears, but just one interaction with Trinket shows you that she doesn’t let any of it bother her! She’s the perfect angel, and her lack of ears means her halo sits perfectly on her head without anything to get in its way! Trinket is spayed, UTD on vaccines and preventatives, and currently being fostered in Camp Hill, PA. Apply to meet this precious baby today! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
