Preston aka Bingo aka Potato 6.5 years old 78# Pit Mix This hunk of love was adopted from us in 2019 as a young puppy. Over the summer he entered a local animal shelter as a stray. They contacted the owners on the microchip who advised they gave him away the week before. And they did not want him back. Preston was in an out of foster care through the shelter but never could find a good placement. We learned about him this past week and took him back. What we have learned: Bingo wants all of the cuddles and to be a part of the family. If you're in the kitchen so is he. If you're on the couch, so is he. He loves car rides and rides better than my kids. He walks amazingly on a harness that will come with him and he is house trained. He seems to be ok with calm dogs that leave him alone. And he absolutely loves kids, because kids give him attention and food. He takes treats SO gently. Even though he loves everyone, he REALLY loves men. Men can get him rough housing and jumping/mouthing/playing like a young pup. He does have some stiffness in his legs, possibly made worse by being a little overweight. He will come with any leftover joint supplements and his brand new XXL orthopedic bed. Bingo is neutered and FULLY vetted. His fee is FULLY sponsored. IRELAND is a four-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier who, likes so many others, was a victim of the pandemic. Found tied to a fence in Philadelphia. When she was six months old, she was deprived of early socialization and, as a result, is unsure in public settings and meeting new people. She is reactive with other dogs, but she did have a Pomeranian friend when she was a puppy so possibly she could be acclimated to a calm male dog in the future but currently we are recommending her as the only pet in an adult-only household. Ireland is an athlete! She can run and run and run for miles. Every car ride leads to adventure and she will readily jump in and ride shotgun. Once you’re in her circle, you are golden. Ireland has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for Heartworms and has been microchipped. We hope to keep her within comfortable driving range, so that there can be several meetings and a home visit leading up to the Adoption. Adoption $200. BRUNO is an almost 4 year old (estimated DOB 10-21-21) pit bull mix, who was rescued from a dangerous situation with his siblings and other dogs. He is a super sweet and active pup! Looking for a family that can keep up with an active dog and give him the RDA of mental and physical stimulation that he needs. We require a general obedience class of your choice as a part of the adoption to get everyone started in the right paw. Iris is a very sweet girl who loves to be snuggled and get lots of attention. She greets everyone with excitement and a wagging tail whenever they enter the room, and her playful side has started to show more each day. She enjoys going on walks and spending time by the windows, watching people, squirrels, and birds. She is highly food-motivated, she will happily follow anyone with food or cooking smells. We believe she is mostly deaf (she can hear a whistle but can’t hear clapping), so she can be easily startled if she doesn’t see you coming, then is very happy when she notices you and shows no signs of aggression. She hasn’t spent much time around cats, but with the two she’s met on a leash, she was mostly curious and didn’t bark or react negatively. She gets along with the resident dog and is doing well with crate and house training. This sweet girl has so much love to give and is looking for her forever home.
