I took Cash in beginning of March 2024. He had been housed outside. Had never been the vet ever. He is 18 months old. I got him his shots. I have appointment for neutering on 5/20/24. That’s why I am asking for an adoption fee. Just to recoup the neutering costs. Cash is an extremely loving sweet boy. Unfortunately he was never taught manners and was never walked on a leash. He is extremely strong and 70lbs. I’m not experienced enough to handle 18 months of no home training. We are good with going potty outside. We have learned to sit however staying and or waiting is something we are working on. He is getting much better walking on a leash but gets overly excited when seeing other dogs or people. Only then is he hard to control. Vet thinks it’s a lot to do with his hormones as he’s still intact. He is smart and very eager to please. I live in a condo and Cash really needs a yard. I took him in to save him from the pound as that’s where he was headed. We don’t fit.

Paco is a puppy and we are so proud of him!  When he first came to us, he was so scared and unsure. He has gotten used to our kennel staff and comes right over for lots of love and attention. He is very smart and learns new things quickly too. It has been a pleasure working with him to get him used to meeting new people. Paco is only 5 month old and is a male, Pit Bull Terrier mix. He is unsure at first with new people and may growl sometimes to let you know how scared he is feeling.  If you are kind and give him a moment to get used to you, he will warm up slow to you, wag his tail and lean his whole body against you. We can see his fear melt away once he gets used to you and he is such a good dog. Paco is just a baby still and needs someone to help show him how fun life is. Once he knows you, Paco is playful and goofy. He remembers people well once he gets to know them too. Paco would benefit from training with a behaviorist to help socialize him around new people slowly so he is not so scared when he goes out for walks. Patience is key and he is a lovely dog if you put in the time for him. If you have another dog at home you will need to bring them by to meet Paco to see if they will be a good match.
