Hi there, friends! My name is Simon and I am ready to fill your home with laughter, smiles, happiness and all things joy. I weigh about 65 lbs and I was born in January 2022. I love people. I love spending time with people. There are so many things we can do together. We can play with toys. We can take walks in the neighborhood or around the park. We can learn and train, because I'm smart, I work hard for treats and I enjoy learning new things. We can cuddle and snuggle, I am really good at it too. We can watch movies together. You can read a book to me. We can dance to your favorite song or just lounge and listen to the rain. I'm all about you and anything you want to do. I am a fairly easy-going guy, but I'm not used to being alone at home. I’m a GREAT work-from-home colleague. I get along well with other dogs of all sizes. I am naturally happy, it's my default state. All I need now is someone to love for life. I hope you apply today! You'll be so glad you did! Adoption fee: $80. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 30 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
